It would be great to have an option to add "incoming inventory". Then once it arrives simply input "quantity arrived" and that updates the stock on hand.Being able to see what stock is on its way can help when deciding whether to split a shipment or wait until more stock arrives to send.It also helps to stop double ordering from suppliers when using the "re-order threshold" to keep an eye on stock.
In the new release, the "SHIPMENT" screen does not have the little up and down arrows to be able to sort the RECIPIENT column or the SERVICE column. Has anyone else faced the same issue. We use Google Chrome. Recipient and Service columns were sortable on the shipment screen until the new version went into effect. Please turn back on this sorting ability. We need it to be able to reconcile shipments. Thanks.
integration with hermes business? UK so we can use our own rates?
Currently, if the device running the ShipStation Connect software is slept or turned off then if someone on ShipStation sends a print label request it just dissappears. Would it be possible to configure the ShipStation Connect system to send to a server queue first, just in case the device running Connect locally is turned off, or offline? I would say the process is currently:Client --> Device hosting ConnectBut if this device is offline or slept, the Client print request simply dissappears. If I turn the device hosting connect locally, back on or wake it from sleep, there are no requests. Having it go:Client --> ShipStation Server Queue --> Device hosting Connect (only sent when it is online)And holding in the server queue until the device running connect locally is online would be better, as no print requests are 'lost'. Now this does bring in a problems.Reliance on the cloud to operate. And I have considered alternatives:Could just run a low powered pc 24/7Or just only print WHEN the device is online. .... but I was just wondering if this could be an option in settings or potentialy looked into for some other options.
Integration with Recharge subscriptions is necessary for our business to use Shipstation as our fulfillment platform. Without this integration we will have to absorb additional labor costs to create a work around which will heavily influence our decision to continue using Shipstation. Please work on creating this integration. Thanks.
I know that this has been requested multiple times in the past, but is there an update on when we could expect a full Klaviyo integration? It would be incredibly valuable for our business. Thanks, Gabriel Schlumbergerwww.fitzframes.com
Every day when using ShipStation our active sessions will encounter an "auto-magic" logoff. We think it occurs around 4-5 hours of productive work. When contacting SS support they are also unsure what the exact duration of timing variable is also. We receive no 'real' warning OR method to extend our active session. Work is interrupted and productivity declines as we are forced to log back in and try to recover our current tasks. Seems like this should be an individual user setting, with the ability to extend up to a working shift e.g. 8-12 hours.
The Scan-to-Ship screen does not memorize the default scale/scale you used last time. You have to reselect the scale every day before you begin shipping. It remembers the printer from the day before, why not remember the scale??? This seems like a simple little thing, but for employees who are not tech-savvy even the simplest things get can be problems... especially "settings" type things that are not part of the standard pick, pack, weigh, print label processes.
We need to compensate for the cost of insurance on our shipping costs. How do we include this? We charge a 50% insurance for every shipment over $200.Currently, ShipStation doesn't regulate charging customers. All matters including charging customers and how much to charge will be configured outside of ShipStation, but Shipstation calculates the insurance rate & offers shipping options to the customer as they are connected we need Shipstation to add to the cost the amount of the insurance that is a Shipstation issue, not Shopify issue Shopify has no way of knowing the cost of the insurance, Shipstation does. The shipping options feature only includes checkout rates, not insurance. When it comes to charging customers for insurance, ShipStation isn't able to assist with that. There is no way for Shopify to know without Shipstation telling it what the insurance will be. Shopify can't calculate something it has no information onWhen we select add insurance, & on the drop down we select carrier, and for all orders over $200 we add 50% so a $200 order gets $100 insurance. For every $100 insurance it goes up on our end by $3.75 for standard shippingit is more for the others like the overnight or international economy. We use FedEx, customers aren't paying this insurance... we eat that advancement on shipping costs every time. We need this insurance cost to be added to what the customer pays for shipping, & be included in suggested shipping rates.
Hello,I think it would be good if users were not able to generate a 2nd shipping label for the same order within a specific time interval (say 1 or 2 seconds). We have had some users that accidentally double-click the Create Label button and then end up having to void the extra label.
We ship some items that have their length and width as attributes. This is done to calculate both the cost and weight from 1 product page rather than have 200 separate SKUs. Attributes can also be colors or options for some other products. In individual orders these show up under the item SKU, and our suppliers can ship the correctly sized item. However there is no way to add these attributes to reports or to shipment tab exports.
For those of us that use courier services, having Mothership integrated to Shipstation and Shipengine as a vendor would be extremely helpful. Would like to see tracking for their inbound shipments especially. Like this request if you like Mothership!
Hi Shipstation! Would you ever consider integrating with Hudson's Bay Canada? The platform runs almost identical to Bestbuy (Mirakl), so I'm sure it would be a very easy addition!
I think it would be a good addition to be able to extend the automation features to create the shipping labels automatically after they have been assigned to a shipping preset. These could be sent to a folder which a warehouse manager could then process or automatically sent to a shipstation connected printer. This would help speed up the fulfilment of orders as there would be less steps between receiving an order and the label being created - thereby increasing the amount of orders that can be processed. It would also mean the amount of work needed to be completed manually is greatly reduced and workers can use this time in other parts of the workflow.
Wondering if you could add a "Hold" button under the "Alerts" tab on the left like there is under the "Awaiting Shipments" tab. Currently having to shift between the two every time I need to put an alerted order on hold is becoming time consuming.
Scan barcode to print shipping label This is a production line workflow. We create our shipments via your API ahead of time. So on a given Monday we might have 1,000 shipments already set up that are shipping throughout the week. This is what we want to do: - Create a barcode associated with each shipping label - We print barcodes and place on each box on our production line - Person scans barcode which automatically finds its matching shipping label and automatically prints the shipping label It's critical that no clicking or keyboard shortcuts would be required. We need the act of scanning the barcode to be the only thing required with the result being the correct shipping label printed. As far as I can tell, your software already has all the pieces you'd need to do this pretty easily. It's just a matter of connecting the dots and enabling it as a feature. This is definitely more of a production line automation, and I bet it would be valuable to customers doing higher volumes.
This would be the one issue I wish ShipStation will add in the future. I noticed there is only notifications for the shipment going out the door, and when it is delivered. If a package is delayed for any reason, I will not get notified via email. Which can cause lots of issues, especially with express/international shipments that are needed in a timely matter (for big events as an example)
In V3, there are two different styles of Order Summaries that print, depending on which workflow you use to access them. Can you make it so the Order Summary looks the same as the legacy version please? Here are the two different ways to access the different order summary versions in V3: 1. Go to "Shipments", "Batches" and then select the batch you want and click "Print - Order Summary". This version is EXACTLY like the Legacy version Order Summary, which is good. 2. Click the "label queue" button in the top right of the screen, then click the batch and click "Other Docs", "Print order summary". This version has different fonts and spacing and the "Buyer Notes" section is difficult to read because it removes spaces between words (see attached example). The removal of spaces may have something to do with the fact that you can no longer simply press 'Enter' to get a new line when typing in the "Note from buyer" text box. In V3, you have to hold Shift and then press Enter to get a new line, which I do not like at all.
The legacy version had an "Export order line items" option in a drop down list. In the new version, you have to click "export orders" then click the "export order line items" radio button, then click my custom format radio button (because the default line items export is different in the new version). Please make an option to "save settings as default" so there isn't so much clicking required for this procedure.
Please add the "Saved Filters" option back to the order batches page (like it was in the Legacy version).
I think it would be helpful to add the Scan to Verify feature to the Orders tab section. We currently print our shipping labels from the orders tab. We scan look up the order, we review the order details (address & payment), update the dimensions & weight, choose the shipping method and print the label. This section of the site has the most detailed information about orders. It would be great if the option to Scan to Verify could be enable here, so the Shipper can scan that the item they are creating a label for is in fact the item in front of them. This would reduce mistakes as items shuffle around the warehouse and can be misplaced/mispacked. Having the shipper verify at the point of shipment seems like the best time. I know there is an option to scan to verify and print, but the details of the order on the scan tab are to limited.
A feature that would be beneficial is the ability to create multiple batches at the same time. i.e. if there are 1000 orders selected, create 20 different batches of 50 orders to then print all batches at once.
Hi, Please can you confirm whether this will integrated in the foreseeable future?
We use a lot of local carriers for our local customers. These small local carriers are not in Ship Station, so we use the "Mark as Shipped" function to add the tracking number and push that back to our ERP. Currently there is no option to add the price for this, so we have to manually go into our ERP and add the shipping cost for all of our local carriers (which adds up to quite a lot of time).
When batch printing, we want the first label in the stack to match up with the first packing slip in the stack, but currently it's the opposite. The first label that prints out is the last packing slip that prints. This means you cannot easily flip through the stack of labels. It sounds small, but it's helpful for our packers workflow to have the last label printed match the last packing slip printed, so that the stack of labels can easily be worked through one by one instead of needing to flip through them backwards. An option to control the print order of packs lips independently from labels would be amazing. Or a toggle to reverse one or the other. Thank you.
