We sell food products that have a packaged weight. We would like to have a validation that takes the expected weight of all items and compares that against the actual shipment weight. We have had orders where an item was missed and it was obvious when the customer contacted us that they were inadvertently omitted based on the shipping weight. Is there a way to have the actual weight compared against the standard weight for all matched items, and if the difference deviates by +/- X ounces, then a notification is triggered
we are currently using a 3rd party warehouse to ship out orders for us. We would like for them to not see the pricing information for each order. can we create log in for them to use that doesn't allow them to see pricing?
I love that we can utilize presets to save time in bulk updating orders. However, we cannot do that with Canada's Duties and Taxes. So, over a long weekend, I spend around 30 minutes to an hour individually clicking "Prepay Duties and Taxes." Does anyone know a solution to this? If not, ShipStation, please include this in your next update! It needs to be an option in creating a new preset!
I want to be able to pull the value associated with the ShipStation packing slip barcoder via API, so I can replicate it on our internally generated labels. There is currently no API to pull this data. Here's an example of the data that is stored with the barcode: ^#^D5A061F^ There is currently no way to pull this data via an API.
Hi, if possible it would be nice to see who added the colored tags on an order. Adding this under shipment activity would be great. There is a bug where sometimes notes don't save on our orders but the tag always stays. If we knew who added the tag then we could ask them about the notes. Just need to know who to ask. Thanks in advance.
We are looking to use a new carrier called Veho. They are not currently on ShipStation Platform. They have discussed with ShipStation on Integration in the past but it seems like ShipStation has a list of carriers that are waiting to be integrated and they are having a hard time moving along in the process. How can we speed that up with ShipStation?
Hi,It would be really helpful if there is column for estimate delivery time on orders tab. So that we can look estimated delivery of all orders at once or maybe also sort them. Currently it's takes a lot of time to click every order and check the Delivery time. Here is the screenshot for reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/2Nu6yGvOThanks

It would be nice to include Canadian Carriers such as Loomis Express for finding rates
How do we get ShipStation to include FedEx One Rate Large and Extra Large boxes? With the new rates that started today May 2nd, 2022 you can ship a Large box for $19.95 and a Extra Large Box $27.50 (2day anywhere including Alaska and Hawaii) for a flat rate. ShipStation includes a FedEx large and extra large box but they are not the 'ONE RATE" option.
Would love to be able to integrate Sendle (USA) as a carrier. It's available in Australia so hopefully this wouldn't be too difficult since you already have the option available in the Australia market. Really don't want to use another platform but the shipping options/pricing are great!
I usually prepare my shipments before sticking on the labels, and handwrite the name of the client so I know which label is for which package. Frustratingly its not possible to print the packing slip before the label, which causes issues with my workflow as I cant seal the packages ready for the label to be affixed. As a result I resort to printing the packing slip via ebay.Would it be possible to allow the packing slip to be printed despite no label being printed (yet)??
Let's say I have 10 consignment orders. So, no they have not paid, so they are sitting in "Awaiting Payment'. Why do you make me mark every single order individually?! I want to choose those orders and click "mark as paid". I don't need to put the shipping price in there because obviously, I have not shipped it and so there is no price they have paid for shipping!
Hi Community,We have an idea that could greatly help us and other Shipstation users. You should create a button to reship a package from the original order. Currently to return an item to a customer we must create a new order manually. For the seller who ships more than 500 orders per day, this practice is costly and generates several errors. The practice is simple when orders are created manually in Shipstation, we can copy customer information. However, when the information is transmitted by an external platform like Chaneladvisor, it is impossible to put an item in "Create another shipment". In addition to embarrassing certain users like us who created an order manually, we must pay particular attention to inventory. We believe it's time for a "Re-shipment" button to be created in Shipstation. A brand new order would be created with all of the customer's information. We may therefore be able to track the reshipment directly in the original order.Thank you,The MDP-Web team
We use our ShipStation account for multiple dropship partners. Some of them require a specific label format.Currently we have to stop fulfilment, change the label format, print labels for those particular dropship orders, then continue with the rest of the fulfilment. It would be a nice feature to be able to select the label format for each store, either in the store settings, or by using automation rules.
Would it be possible to add "Batch" as a displayed and sortable column in the "Close Shipment" window in End of Day.
Ridiculous. Why are the filtering options so poor? I want to know how many shipments, from one store, for certain dates.
I had a problem with automation rules being not applied and it happened to be due to the fact that certain products had a default shipping service assigned. When I wanted to see which products had a value assigned in the product list I realized that there was not such field/column to add to the view and hence I had to check product by product. I am not sure that even exporting all products I could detect those with a default service already mapped. So this would be the spec:As a ShipStation user I want to be able to see which products have a default shipping service assigned so that I can do changes or verify correct mapping. Thanks
It is crucial for our company to have an option for "live animals" special handling through the postal service. If it is an option that is required of the postal service and offered by the postal service then why isn't ShipStation offering it if they use USPS as a carrier?
It would be extremely helpful if shipment notification emails could be sent when creating a quick label, not just with automated orders through a store. In addition to automated order labels, our business utilizes the rate calculator to create quick labels quite often. There is a field to input the recipients email address, but there is no way for the recipient to receive a shipment notification email. This seems like an easy function to add as and would be incredibly beneficial.
Hello, I would like to suggest adding Depop and Grailed to the stores. Grailed is a huge market place in the US but also around the world. Depop is growing as well but needs integration. Thank you
Hello, I would like to suggest a feature that alls users to change the aging timing to exclude days. I do not work Sundays and nether do my shipping partners so nothing is shipping Sundays but it makes orders place Saturday to be shipped Monday look like they took a long time to be shipping when the fact is 1 shipping partners are not a work and neither and I. So I would like to be able to remove days like Sunday or public holidays for the aging timeThank you
have integration with SAIA please. Amazon support it. You can easily support too. Thanks
Our company sells through several channels, but Etsy is one of our larger ones. We are wanting to implement custom packing slips in ShipStation, but there is one basic functionality that is holding us back. The issue arises when an order comes through that has a different buyer and recipient name. This is important to us for gift orders, so the recipient knows who bought the gift. It properly shows the buyers username and email, but does not properly display the name. A lot of times the actual buyer can't be deciphered from the username and emails. The buyer name field is available in Etsy, and is even printed on Etsy packing slips. ShipStation has a variable for buyer name, but it imports the recipient name instead, and not the buyer's. I would love to see ShipStation work with Etsy to properly map the buyer name variable in custom packing slips.
