Hello.I contacted your API team for this and they encouraged me to ask for this here. According to this (https://help.shipstation.com/hc/en-us/articles/360026157731-Track-Shipments?queryID=bc4f48b2fd03a794ab197ac32a6635c7#UUID-c80e62cf-edd9-23f9-9ab5-7fe1b8b67546) the status of a shipment is available so that we can see if a shipment is in transit or delivered to the customer. Unfortunately, though, this is not available when getting the shipment information from ShipStation's API (example here: https://www.shipstation.com/docs/api/shipments/list/).Additionally, this could be part of a webhook notification - once the status of a shipment is updated it notifies an endpoint on the customer's API for this update.
The Age column in the Orders screen is calculated based on the original order date/time as passed into ShipStation, whether ShipStation gets the orders directly from the channel or through an intermediary such as an order management system that aggregates orders from multiple channels. Our business deals with a lot of limited-edition collectibles and other pre-order items for which orders can be placed weeks or months before the product arrives in our warehouse and is available to ship. All orders accumulate in the OMS, and are released to ShipStation once all items on an order are in-stock and ready to ship.We can already see in the OMS how long it has been since an order was received from the channel.What would be very beneficial in ShipStation would be a column/field that shows us how long an order has been inside ShipStation itself, so we can track that we are getting orders picked, packed, and shipped within a resaonable time of the order being passed to ShipStation from the OMS. An order that was received from the channel 8 days ago and sent from the OMS to ShipStation 7 days ago should be prioritized over an order for a pre-order item that has been sitting in the OMS for 3 months, and was just sent to ShipStation today after the stock arrived in the warehouse yesterday.
Hi,Please consider developing the ability to upload additional customs documentation for International shipments that would be included in the paperless/electronic transfer of customs documents. We ship seeds/plants and nearly all shipments require a Phytosanitary Certificate in addition to the Commercial Invoice. FedEx and DHL have the ability to do this if shipping directly on their websites, but ShipStation customer service agents have confirmed it’s not possible at this time through SS. Without this ability to electronically upload additional documents, we have to individually print copies of the Phyto certificate and Commercial Invoice to hand the courier at pickup to then be manually scanned in on their side. Thus negating the paperless/electronic doc feature. It’s doable for a few shipments at a time but onerous for hundreds!Thank you for your consideration!
This is a well used feature, that you have gotten rid of. BUMMER, it saves so much time! BRING IT BACK!
Think it would be a nice feature to be able to establish an automated fulfillment cut-off time, that would push orders coming in after a certain to the the next day. I would like to post a picture of a screen shot of how the rule could maybe look if certain criteria and action types were made available, but it's denying me.
We do fulfillment for our clients. It would be great be able to calculate the shipping service fee from the ShipStation reports. As the servcie depends on the product format, it would be great if categories were available in the reports.
We have multiple teams picking orders using Packing Slips. It would be beneficial it we were possible to have the date and time that the packing slip was printed printed on the packing slip. For each shipment, it would be great to track and record the promised delivery date when the label is created, and then the actual delivery date so we can reconcile carrier's on-time performance, and choose carriers that are close to their actual promise and results.
ShipStation does not currently include the promised delivery date to the customer for Seller Fulfilled Prime orders. This is a vital piece of Seller Fulfilled Prime. If you don't hit the promised delivery date, you will lose the ability to continue to fulfill orders with Prime. This needs to be added so that we can purchase the right type of shipping to hit the promised delivery date without cross referencing Seller Central as soon as possible.
Please offer the auto-split shipments as an add-on. For smaller businesses with lower volume it just doesn't make sense to switch to the 'High Volume' plan. Offering it as a reasonably priced monthly add-on is much more enticing and would make it an easy sell for those of us who are too small at the moment to want to switch to higher tier plans.
Shipstation already allows a user to add multiple carrier accounts to one Shipstation account - Article Link. And Shipstation also already allows a user to add multiple free Stamps.com accounts to one Shipstation account. So why not also allow a user to have multiple UPS by Shipstation accounts? I would like to add different credit cards to the UPS by Shipstation balance, but this feature is currently not available. In speaking with a Shipstation rep in chat, it sounds like the only expense to Shipstation is paying for the additional Stamps.com monthly subscriptions and if they already do that, what's the issue with this additional option?
We've been experiencing the Google recaptcha verification puzzles every time we login which averages 5+ times a day. Each time taking 15-20 secs. From a customer support chat the overall conversation conveyed this is how it is. Is ShipStation experiencing a high number of bot traffic signing in to want a recaptcha?
It would be great to be able to build a link from our CRM to an order in ShipStation.Each order already appears to have a url, of approximately this format:https://ship5.shipstation.com/orders/awaiting-shipment/order/xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx/active/orderId Since we know the orderId, and the order status, we just need to be able to get or calculate the 'xxx' part. Any chance of getting this or has anyone already figured it out?
I have CanPar as an option for shipping but when I called them to pick up my orders they told me they would not pick up my order because the tracking number was addressed to Ship Station not my address. Why is this even an option if I can't use them and I already paid!
Hi,We can generate orders report by users. There should also be option to generate orders report by warehouse.
Please add the ability to split shipments on mobile.This should already be an option. Our shippers use the tablets to pick and ship, but they cannot mark which package has which items.

Hello, Our orders imported from Ebay have the VAT calculations on however they do not automatically import Ebays IOSS VAT number for shipments. The information is there listed on the Ebay order and it should be pulled through into Shipstations Tax identifiers for orders automatically. Many Thanks
Currently when a customer needs to make a return/exchange. They access the branded portal and input the order number and zip code to access their ordered items. Here they can also print a shipping label. Is it possible to be able to instead of print a label generate a QR code that is emailed to the customer or texted so the customer can then just have UPS or FedEx print the label? Also in this same portal the customer can view my catalog of items for suggested exchanges for example sizes. Once the QR code is scanned via UPS or FedEx this automatically will trigger the customers refund or exchange order. Companies like Returnly and Happy Returns use this system. P.S. Need to also be able to customize the drop down list of reasons why for a return. The generic list doesn't correspond. Thanks Paul

Can Shipstation work on automatically importing HS (Harmonized System) codes from Shopify?I was told this isn't currently possible, but adding this feature would be very helpful since the EU, Northern Ireland, Norway, Switzerland, etc. are requiring HS Codes on all customs documents starting March 1, 2023.I have around 1,000 active products to manually update...
Hi,Seems like a no brainer.We find the ability to export orders/shipments from the main Order Views very handy, the option allows us to choose orders and/or order line items and then create a nice custom format for the csv export. Great.The only trouble is the list of available fields excludes the Item Commodity (or Harmonisation Code) Code.Please add this to the column options for the export, should be easy :D.P.S At the minute I am using Python to take the exported CSV interface file, reformat it and call the ShipStation Product API to get the Commodity Code for each line in the report - quite inefficient compared to it being included in the original export :D.
We receive 1000s of orders daily and print out in a couple of batches per day - it take absolutely ages for the orders to sync through with the current 2 hour auto sync - it would be great if we could set a reduced time for order syncing to speed this up!
We need to be able to edit return notes for customers that we generate return labels for. Once you enter a return note and leave the page, you cannot go back and edit the notes. Customers change their mind all of the time and we have no way of documenting this in shipstation. I feel like this feature existed before you did your most recent update.
I would like the ability to import and export product attributes like product description, image url, etc.
