Build better products with our product team
Yes, I've spent hours assigning each product a specific carrier based on the UPS/USPS zone, but that is only accurate about 50% of the time, so in the end zone automation does not save us any time at all. A simple automation rule to select the cheapest carrier between multiple options would save me about 2 hours every day.
Can you add an option to display weight in KG's? Rgds Marvin
Please, please, please can we have an automation rule to simply put the mobile number in the SMS Notification Box for Royal Mail.I've asked for this over the years but nothing ever happens...You should try copying and pasting this for every single order - it's not fun.Steve
I would really like to have sound notifications on the app for when an item sells. That would be so helpful.
It would be great if the entire page did not refresh when an order is marked as shipped. This wasn't a feature before so not sure why adding it was deemed a good idea. i work for an e-commerce company that gets multiple orders a day and marking them all as shipped the next day is a huge pain and slows me down a lot!! Before this was implemented, orders would just kind of dissipate without refreshing the entire page. Please revert back to how it used to be! 🙂 pretty please!!
We need an improvement that allows ShipStation's automation rules for package sizes & quantities to pull through into Shopify's Live Rates. For example, if we sell 10 widgets to a customer on our Webstore, we would want those consolidated into a single box that fits 10 widgets, not 10 separate boxes.Package size automation is an option when generating shipping in ShipStation, but does not automatically pull through to our customers when they are using our webstore.
We use UPS simple Rate plan for most of our UPS packages. 29 lbs = a medium package = $14.9539 lbs = a large package = $19.60 Using the + button to add additional packages did not work in V2 or V3 because shipstation adds the weights of all the packages and quotes an incorrect price. It does not look at the individual package weight and quote based on that. In V2 we were able to keep hitting create label, and make unlimited amount of labels for an order. In V3 if we hit create a new shipment at the top, and a customer ordered a quantity of 1, it gives an error. We have many orders where a customer orders 1 product, but it has to be shipped in multiple UPS boxes. In V2 we were able to keep hitting create label, and make unlimited amount of labels for an order. We wish to be able to bring this feature back or at least have a workaround option where when we hit the + button, there is an option to buy multiple shipping labels based on each package weight rather than the sum of all packages weights.
I would like there to be a way to limit what skus are available when manually creating orders.Example:Store 1: Nothing but CandyStore 2: Nothing but PoisonIf I create a new manual order for one of my stores, I would like to only have Candy skus show up for Store 1, and only Poison skus show up for Store 2. That way a typo would limit the damage caused.I believe this could easily be done via a simple database field associating a product with either s single, multiple, or all stores, depending on the relevance of your businesses.Thank you for your consideration.
It would great and VERY helpful to have this feature available for the Shift4Shop platform.Thank you!
HiWe sell things, we often sell multiples of things, seems the maximum amount of things we can sell abroad is 99 because that is the upper limit set somewhere under the hood .The limit of 99 things allowed on a custom declaration is a massive PITA for us as we often sell 100, 200, 300 tiny tidgy things and it causes a right faff trying to sort out trying to ship something becuase of this limit of 99 that's set for the customs declaration. Can somone take a look and go "yeah, that's a stupid limit" and increase it please?Fanks!
If you get registered with the post office you can get a number called an MID or mailer ID. It's something that you should be able to have in encoded in the tick marks on first class letters and flats. It allows people to see where they are in the post office system without having first class tracking. For those who ship a lot of letters and flats, allowing us to use our own MID's instead of stamps.com's would allow us to provide better service to our customers.
Our store recently performed an audit of all our products in ShipStation so that everything we sell had up-to-date HTSA Code for international shipping. The issue we've run into is when new products come in, we are having to input codes in two places. It would be great to have an API or widget to allow ShipStation to import product information (and not just HS codes, but SKU, weight, etc.) from Big Commerce, to streamline product information entry and make sure all information is accurate and the same across platforms.
Would love to see an automation action that allows me to send shipment notifications to specific email addresses based on order tags or other criteria. Our use case is that we send samples out to certain customers and our sales team wants to receive tracking information when the shipments are sent. Obviously they don't want this notification for all orders, only for sample orders. Currently I can only control shipment notifications at the store level.
Shipstation Team - It would be great to be able to bulk print the order summary where the orders print one order per sheet. Currently they print multiples to a sheet which is not helpful when we need to separate those order summaries for each order we are working on.
Need DHL eCommerce Expedited Max integration.
I would like to be able to set a basis of working days for the "open order aging" to be determined and evaluated for the an SLA lead time to ship within "x" hours. This is especially helpful for those that do not ship on weekends. It is a helpful tool to be able to evaluate a % of orders shipping on time based on our working days.
Currently all UPS surepost labels that print from Shipstation cut out the recipient company name. This is highly inconvenient and risks packages not being properly delivered.Additionally, our other UPS labels are formatted to insert our order# at the bottom of the label. We use this for QC purposes. Without this, it makes our QC process more difficult.Seems like Shipstation tech team should just be able to shrink other components on this label to make room for both of the above-- please make this possible!
Some of my SKUs are longer than the 26 character limit in the "Label Messages" lines. Is there an option to have the overflow go to the next line?
I would like staff to be unable to print a label for an order if items are not verified - either by scanning or manually clicking verify. When using the "scan to print" feature you cannot even tell that an order has not been verified and therefore can easily ship an order without verifying anything in that order. I would like to be able to control this at the user level, or at the account level as a whole.
I checked and can see that the integration with Prestashop is currently set to import all weights in pounds. Could you add an integration option in kilogram for prestashop. THANKS
To date, I've gone through 2 ShipStation app updates for my BigCommerce store. Both have been extremely poorly executed by the app creators, in that nothing is explained (what the update will do or how to proceed). In fact, the info on the pages that is provided is WRONG, both times! Here's what I mean: The last update simply showed a download icon on the app, telling me it wanted to update. So I click it and instead of ShipStation loading, or perhaps a page that explains that I'm about to update and to click a button to do so, what happens? A page loads that asks me if I want to create a free trial of ShipStation! I'm offered to confirm if I want to do this. Well, no thank you. So I close the browser and do NOT click anything on that page. Yet, strangely, when I go back into ShipStation, it is working normally. Did it upgrade? IDK. But the icon is now gone. So I'm left not knowing what has happened, other than the fact that something appears to have gone wrong. This is the kind of "communication" that ShipStation updates in BigCommerce give me. Clear as mud. Is there a problem? Did it work? Who knows??? But at least the page is loading now so it seems to be working. Still, I'm left with the feeling that I'm walking on thin ice. Come on, ShipStation, how about making these updates actually COMMUNICATE accurately what is happening, and how to proceed? Maybe even, IDK, a message that says "thanks for updating" so I know it actually worked, instead of guessing. The previous update to V3 was even worse. Without telling me anything, that update installed a "new store." But since it told me this was an "update" I presumed it would work like all standard Updates: namely, that all the data would be migrated into the new store. Updates, you know, REPLACE the original software by default. But no. This update installed a new store, again without telling me. So I assume the data is all safe and sound in the new store and delete the old one. Why would I need that? Well, all my old shipping data was deleted with the old store! Had to jump through tech support hoops to get it back! All this would have been avoided with a SIMPLE EXPLANATION of what the "update" was going to do... create a New Store... and that I should NOT delete the old store. Because, well, it really wasn't an update in the traditional sense. It was going to create an entirely new and separate store.Come on, ShipStation, please inform us and guide us through the updating process so we know what it happening, and whether it's working or not, instead of giving us page loads to information that appear like errors!
We currently have 10+ sales channels connected to Shipstation including Magento 2. We are migrating over the Magento Cloud, but the latest version of the Auctane/Shipstation extension doesn't work with Magento Cloud. We love that Shipstation imports all our orders from so many different channels, but are quite disappointed that it won't work with Magento 2 when hosted with Magento Cloud. It is still Magento 2.4.x Enterprise version, but just hosted in Magento Cloud - hoping compatibility can be accomplished with some work on Shipstation's part rather than a whole new separate custom implementation. Without a working integration, we won't be able to go live in the M2 Cloud unless we switch to another solution. Please help to make this compatible! More and more Magento users will likely move to the Cloud!Thank you
Request for a new Action Type within automation rules to exclude certain customer types from receiving shipping and delivery confirmation emails. You could utilize a checkbox on the order to determine if a customer would like to receive either/both/none of the Shipstation emails. We use the 'Note From Buyer' field on order to determine the classification of orders. This field typically contains the text 'Retail' or 'Wholesale'. Being able to use an automation rule action to exclude / opt-out 'Wholesale' from emails would be a positive since our accounts are inundated with these confirmations and separately receive an invoice that already includes tracking information.
A feature allowing automation to assign orders matching the sorting criteria would be extremely beneficial for a lot of companies in my opinion. Currently, we use specific batches that as assigned to our customer service team that are used to hold orders that have address errors, high-value orders to be fraud checked, etc. Every morning my lead shipper has to go through all the orders that came in from the night before and identify if they need to be moved to the customer service batch before he can create the batches that will go out that day. Having a feature that would allow us to automatically move address errors and orders over $300 to the customer service batch would save us a lot of time. In the meantime, I'll be using tags for such orders to help my lead identify them faster but it still takes time out of his day to move them around and add the appropriate notes. Hopefully, this feature could be added to ShipStation in the not-so-distant future!
We have multiple store fronts processed in ShipStation. Our Amazon store is directly linked to ShipStation and for some purchased, the return is processed in ShipStation. It would be very helpful to be able to complete the return in ShipStation once the return is received, by processing the refund minus applicable restocking fees
