Woocommerce checkout live rates

Hello ShipStation Team,

I want to request the integration of live shipping rates for WooCommerce. It would be incredibly beneficial to display ShipStation's live shipping rates directly on the WooCommerce Cart and Checkout pages.

Currently, we are facing an issue where the UPS rates displayed on our WooCommerce site are significantly higher than the rates we receive through ShipStation. This discrepancy is impacting our customers' choice of shipping options, especially for international orders, where they find the rates on the website to be prohibitively expensive compared to the actual costs in ShipStation.

I contacted your support team and was informed that ShipStation currently supports live rates only for Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, and Wix, but not for WooCommerce. This limitation prevents us from providing the same competitive rates to our WooCommerce customers, which would greatly enhance their experience.

It would be great to see this feature added, as it would allow us to offer more accurate shipping options to our customers, enhancing both their experience and our service efficiency.

I too am looking for a workaround or a plugin that we could implement the live rates in our cart to work with shipstation. Anyone have any suggestions?

Now that you're planning on blocking API access, we either need this feature, or I need to switch away from ShipStation.

There is a plugin OneTeamShipstation Shipping but it has caused me so many headaches with conflicts.  The one good thing it has is that it pulls the rate and you can set to add a % just to cover any changes in rates. nevertheless, just more subscriptions and headaches to integrate

@CaraAdmin Any updates on this? I don't really understand what the hold up is. There are a lot of WooCommerce stores.

What partner limitation are you referring too? I reached out to WooCommerce a year ago about this and they said there is no issue on their end with this type of integration. I assumed this would have been fixed by now.

Check out the Live Rates for ShipStation extension. I'm just now looking at it, but it seems like this could be the answer until ShipStation decides to serve the Woo community equally.

I also wanted to share a quick update from our development team. We’re aware that ShipStation support for WooCommerce Live Rates has been a topic of interest, and I’m pleased to share that it is on our roadmap. This is a fairly large project with several moving parts, and the current estimated timeline is mid-to-late 2026. I’ll be sure to share any updates as they come my way. Please note that this timeline is subject to change as work progresses.
