I would like to suggest when large orders are split into several different shipments, that each label have "1 of 6" or 2 of 9" or something to let the carriers know there is more than 1 bundle/package in the shipment so that fewer packages get lost in transit/during delivery. We lose a lot of product without that information on the label.

I just created a new user account to only allow Order Management and Shipping for my employee with the intention that they could NOT see our store insight data like sales numbers, etc. but to my surprise they had full access to all of this information that we wish to keep private. Please create the option to hide store insight data from select users. I messaged support and they said they currently do not have this option which is shocking to me and they recommended I leave a recommended feature post here.

Hello, I was just wondering if in the future there's an API endpoint in Shipstation where we could generate and download reports? So we could automatically save historical data.

We have the ability to scan product to verify it. However, occassionally we need to manually verify an item if the barcode cannot be scanned. Other times, the process of scanning to verify is not being followed. We would like a report for each time someone manually verifies an item. Thank you for your help. Joe

So I've been chugging along for years now thinking I'd been doing everything right because no carrier adjustments were showing up in my account history and I'd never been alerted to any adjustments. WRONG. I found out the hard way the other day that you need to log into stamps.com, go to reports, then balances (left side) then transactions and scroll through hundreds or thousands of transactions to see adjustments. There's also no way to filter for them. I got hit with over $800 worth of carrier adjustments last year. If I'd have known about this sooner, I could have taken proactive action to avoid most of them. There's absolutely no good reason why this information should not be coming up in the account history in ShipStation. I found out from a friend who uses Shipping Easy (also owned by Stamps.com) that they appear in her reports. This is basic information that every shipper needs to access.

I work for a small building business. We do fulfillment and prep work for clients to send to customers and to Amazon. All of my clients like knowing there inventory so I've had to manually track it myself, which has been a bit of a hassle at times. I started setting up inventory for my fulfillment products on Shipstation to try and lighten the load of tracking it myself. It has worked great for some of my clients stores, but I have a couple clients with bundles and kits with their own SKU that have multiple single SKU's in them. This makes the inventory tracking complicated because there is no way to set up bundles in a way that still subtracts from the single SKU's inventory. I think this would be a very helpful add on to the software. For me personally and I'm sure for more businesses who deal with inventory tracking and monthly inventory reports.

Having to contact customer support and provide names of Customers you'd like removed from the platform is a serious overhead and is way to time consuming. Allow customers to edit and delete customer data.

internal reports would be handy to include in the shipping reports so if and when we have a reshipment of an existing order - we can mark at as a reship so our admin departments know where to put the shipment cost.

I love the Shipment Count By User report. It gives me a great idea of a person's average daily output. But because of the way we split up our workload, it is very hard to figure out what a good average expectation across the board would be. To be able to figure this out, it would be helpful to know "number of boxes p/ user" (we send a lot of multi-box shipments) and "weight by user". The way we split things up, one person may get out 60 orders that weigh under 24 lbs in a day, whereas another person may send out 17 orders that are over 100 lbs. Both are putting in a full days work, but it looks like one did significantly more. If there was a "box p/ user" or a "weight p/user", I could get a better picture of average expectations for the department.

on a weekly basis, I pull data on all of the orders that have been shipped from our warehouse. It can become a hassle searching through every single order since the only orders I need are "Made to order" purchases (rather than in stock purchases) The only way I can think to be able to find this is by filtering out by 'dollar amount' or 'value.' All of our "Made to order" products cost over $99- so if there were a filter for me to track all of the orders that have been shipped out that are over that dollar amount, it would be incredibly helpful. This option is available when you are in the "orders" tab in Shipstation, just not the "shipments" tab. I would really appreciate if someone could look into this further and see if this filter can be added! Thank you!

We need to be able to print and EOD scan form for our UPS drivers to print when they pick up our packages each day. This will provide proof that UPS picked them up so if the package is lost, stolen or damaged, we can file a claim. It will also allow our customers to get notice that their item has left our location much quicker. We have asked for this feature for many years without any updates. Please give us a good reason why it can't be done. It works for USPS why not UPS? Thank you!

We have negotiated rates but do not want to display those rates to customers. I'd like to see a spot for a markup at the store and/or carrier level, either as a flat "handling fee" or as a percentage of the shipping charge. The reports would be able to include both "true charge" and "marked up charge". (In our case, we have no client-facing stores, and only want this feature for running reports at the backend, but I could see where other users might like it in that situation.)

Hi- we need more user activity in reporting for Shipstation and also the reports that are supported in Shipstation API. For users- the only information we can get is either a Shipment report in Shipstation (and the API) which has userids attached to the shipment(which are our users). There is also a general User report we can get- which is all the UserIDs and names attached to all the users on our account. However, if I want to look at other user activity besides just shippers (like our shipment verifiers), there is no way to get a general report that we can see all user activity. Not sure why this hasn't ever been made available (if it is an issue of privacy concerns- it could be a report that is only available for API purposes or a report generated in Shipstation for certain managers identified), but this is a very needed report that can help generate useful insights by looking at the activities and user logs generated for each user and their interaction with Shipstation

The Shipment by User Count area in the reports is very useful for seeing how many shipments a specific person completed in a specific period of time. An enhancement to this existing report would be to actually link to the list of these shipments. I was able to search the system and find the shipments that each user worked on, but if the count number that is shown in the existing report could be changed to a link that would take you to the list of shipments that the user worked on, these shipments would be much easier to find.

We would like to have the option to have OR statements as opposed to only AND statements in the filters. Specifically, we would like to create a filter that shows me all the orders that need attention before the label can be printed. That is, we want to have a filter that shows any orders that: Address Warning Address Error No “Rate” No “Service” No “Weight” Unverified Address Currently, the filters only display with AND statements which is unhelpful because it is highly unlikely that any order would have all of these criteria. We would like to have a filter that can display all the items that fit even one of these criteria.

The administrator of the account should be able to add a handful of email addresses to get the Weekly Digest Email. Currently, the only way for anyone to get a copy of that email is that they have to be a named user, give them permissions to reporting and then opt themselves into getting the report. So if the owner of the company, or the controller or a director of finance wants a copy, I have to either forward it to them with or with filter rules (but I don't care to receive it myself if I'm the admin), or I have to add one of the email recipients as a named user for $15-5 dollars that don't want or need any functionality of Shipstation except for this report. TL;DR 1. Allow the administrator of the account to add one or more emails to get the Weekly Digest without taking up a named user slot. 2. Weekly digest should contain an Excel attachment so that the data can be consumed easily by biz folks.

Afternoon, I've been advised by your customer service team to post here. The custom export reports are great, but for us to get exactly what we need, we need to have the "warehouse" and/or "created by" fields. Knowing the despatch sites is quite crucial for us as we're fresh produce makers. Would it be possible to include those fields in the custom report options please?
