Are there character limitations for packing slip fields?

Are there character limitations for packing slip fields (eg [Warehouse Location]) and is there a way to override them? This information is not given in the PackingSlipFieldReplacements.pdf.

Thanks for posting about this in the community! We are thrilled to have you join us 🙂 

Each of the different field replacements have varying character limits. These limits can be reviewed on the Knowledge Base article for the Custom Store Development Guide. 

Unless limited further via the carrier's label capabilities, the packing slip should should have corresponding character limits.
