How to overcome the inability to schedule pickups ?

We have been trialling SS for our various online stores.  Although we find the carrier integration terrible,  with enough workarounds I think it might be able to work for printing labels, HOWEVER its inability to book pick-ups is for us a dealbreaker. I am at a loss as to why they have managed to do the shipping integration but stopped at integrating the pickups.  How to the programers think the Parcel gets on a truck if there is no pick-up arranged? 

   There must be other people using this system for shipping ( Or are there ?)  , how do you get around the " we don't do pickups"   issue ?

While we don't offer scheduled pickups for all carriers, we do have a list of those we do! The full list of carriers that offer a scheduled pick-up is in this Help Center Article
