Shipment status in API response

Hello.

I contacted your API team for this and they encouraged me to ask for this here. According to this (https://help.shipstation.com/hc/en-us/articles/360026157731-Track-Shipments?queryID=bc4f48b2fd03a794...) the status of a shipment is available so that we can see if a shipment is in transit or delivered to the customer. Unfortunately, though, this is not available when getting the shipment information from ShipStation's API (example here: https://www.shipstation.com/docs/api/shipments/list/).

Additionally, this could be part of a webhook notification - once the status of a shipment is updated it notifies an endpoint on the customer's API for this update.

Same issue. I'm surprised it's not possible to return such simple and mission critical data. To repeat the question, for a given Tracking Number or OrderId how can we return the shipping status (not order status) but if the shipment is In transit/Delivered/Status Unknown, as shown by these icons.
