We have a few websites that sell products to wholesalers. For example we will sell a case of a single SKU. Each case has 12 units. It would be nice if SS could allow us to setup virtual bundles that deducted multiple units of a single SKU.

We want the FROM address set to our domain so that 'via Shipstation.com' does not appear on gmail. We also want to include your spf/senderId records in our spf/senderId records, have the email signed with our DKIM key and have the links use our subdomain instead of email.shipstation.com.

I have tried the ‘Create Another Shipment’ option in V3, however the problem is that it does not carry forward the item detail from the original shipment into the new shipment.
Therefore at the end of the month when I reconcile the inventory, it does not show that we in fact shipped 2pc of whatever item it was, it only records the original item shipment.
Please pass along my comments to the developers as this function is essential to our order processing, inventory management as well as our month end reporting.

The one thing I really wanted you didn't add to the new version: A DUPLICATE button for Automation Rules. If I have a rule with 20 different attributes and want to adjust it for a different status (like just change the weight and that's it), I have to RECREATE THE ENTIRE RULE FROM SCRATCH. That's ridiculous. You know how long that takes if you use this feature a lot? I have about 50 of them and every time I need to create a new set, I dread it because you don't have a simple way to (1) select a current rule (2) select DUPLICATE (3) change the ONE LITTLE ITEM I want to change and then (4) Name it and Save it. But no, I have to recreate it from scratch. And what's even worse -- I can't have the old one open to LOOK AT IT at the same time I'm creating the new one, so I have to TAKE A SCREENSHOT OF IT and have it up while I'm making the new one. That is just a ridiculous User Interface. Please fix that and add a DUPLICATE button. Thank you in advance! I'll just be over here slaving over Automation Rules while you work on that...

We ship mostly with USPS first class and use light poly envelopes to ship items out which weigh .5oz-2oz. ShipStation allows you to have products to the tenth decimal, but when we use the automation features to add the dunnage factor of a .3oz envelope, we can only do whole numbers. This actually does make a difference in high volume/low profit businesses where a bump in first class price can make all the difference.

It would be great if there is a way to pull through customer VAT numbers onto our UPS commercial invoices created on ShipStation. At the moment VAT numbers are shown on a custom field but are not pulled through to the commercial invoices. This is vital when shipping high value EU shipments, especially now with Brexit.

When clicking on an order to start shipping, get notified that there's another pending order going to same address, if want to merge the two shipments as one.
Or, add an automation rule where you can tag multiple orders that are awaiting to be shipped that are going to same address or same customer so we're aware, instead of having to check order alerts every time for combining orders.

We currently use the new batch options as working folders for orders in which we after tag and export to order and process in other systems.
Adding the Order actions such as tagging and exporting is essential for the batch view!

We use to scan order using the barcode on the packing slip and it use to pull up the order directly, now on V3 we need to go to the scan section in order to do that ? can this process be the same in V2 it's much easier when you have so many orders to fulfill.

When our customer asks us for shipping prices we would Like to be able to export shipping prices from the shipping calculator in shipstation from all our couriers since we do not know if the customer is looking for affordable shipping, Fast shipping, or has a preferred courier it is frustrating having to copy every line everytime a customer asks for shipping price. Just On eBay we have this question asked several times a day. To have a simple way of offering this to them so they decide would save us a lot of time. We have 4 Couriers with a total of almost 20 shipping options. Depending on the item It would be great if we can also automatically add an adjustable shipping and handling. For example If it is a small item add $2 to all the rates If it is a much larger item add $50 to all the rates.

I have been using shipstation for 6+ years now. I have submitted ideas, i have voted for ideas, I have requested changes for packing slips, pick lists, email templates, additional custom fields, Import fields, export fields, shipping costs, bulk items, inventory changes, adding custom carriers, freight carriers, better options for more than 1 package orders, Sending notifications for marked as shipped, Combine Fulfillment reports with shipping reports and manifests so you can see everything that shipped out and not just what went out via parcel, etc.. Over the past 6 years the only change i have seen is the help search has gotten worse. Every time I have a chat with support they are extremely nice and then they give me the link to submit my ideas. The industry is growing and changing at a rapid pace and ShipStation is starting to fall behind.
If you are making the changes we are requesting then Prove it to us. Where is the list? How about you allow us to vote on the changes that you have made and find out how effective those have been. Otherwise this idea tool is just a way to placate us all.

We use ShipStation's line item export feature and it would be nice if Shipstation didn't assign Discounts/Coupons as line items. We're always running promotions and having to delete a extra line for hundreds of orders is time consuming.
Please stop assigning Discounts/Coupons as line items and put them in a place that makes more sense, like order details, order summary, or better yet "Discounts & Coupons".

Right now, we need to look up an order in a custom order management system, then look it up in Shipstation. I'd like to create a workflow where we can look up the order in the first system, then just click a link to go directly to the order page in Shipstation. So basically, I'd like to link directly to a Shipstation order page.
However, each order page loads in a modal window so orders aren't given a direct URL. I'd like to simply have a shipsation URL where I can pass in an order id and have that page pull up that order in Shipstation.
SUPER SIMPLE ENDPOINT, but huge value in constructing workflows that make sense.

Increasingly, foreign countries are passing legislation that requires certain customs numbers or codes to be included on packages, either identify the individual customer so tax can be collected, or identifying the marketplace that has already collected and remitted taxes. Some examples:
Individual
Brazil - CPF / CPNJ
South Korea - PCCC
Italy - CF / PEC
China - Resident ID
Marketplace
Australia - ABN
Norway - VOEC
Shipstation doesn't currently support any of this natively. There is no warning when shipping an order to these countries, there is no field to put this data, you're required to make your own workaround by just adding it manually to the company line of the address. Even worse, Shipstation address verification will often strip this information out entirely. The only advice given is to turn off address verification, which is not ideal.
Shipstation should be ahead of the curve and natively support these new changes to global shipping requirements. I'd expect a company whose focus is on shipping to be on the leading edge, keeping track of these new requirements and making sure that Shipstation users are compliant and not wasting time or money sending shipments that are not compliant and will create headache on the back end.

Offering discounted UPS rates to a SS ecommerce customer but not providing the necessary credentials or links to get the rates applied to the customer’s UPS account makes the discounted rates pretty useless since the rates cannot be displayed in a shopping cart for a user to select at checkout. Maybe that’s not the intended use, but isn’t a SS customer intended to be ecommerce related?

Why can we only see and/or select up to 500 orders or shipments at any given time?
We import bulk orders and sometimes have to process up to 5000 orders in one sitting. This means we have to process up to 10 BULK imports.
Why can't you just select to 'SEE ALL' orders or shipments?

Ability to link directly to order details page.
Hyperlink that goes right to the order details for one of your orders instead of having to search for it.

Like SO MANY ShipStation user requests, this idea has been brought up before, voted on as a good idea, and then NOTHING happens!
People please! Regardless of whether you actually need this feature or not...let's vote this thing through the roof and see if ShipStation actually does something!
And ShipStation....please listen to us when we say we want something made! Stop saying "please vote on this (...and then we'll secretly do absolutely nothing)". Man-up and get your hands dirty! ;)
The Problem -
Our business needs an option to always have the 'notify marketplace' and/or 'notify customer' selected for orders.
We often have different staff members operating our SS page, and if 1 person forgets to select those checkboxes, then our clients email us saying "Why haven't you processed the order! Where is the tracking detail? Rar rar rar!"
It selects the 'Deduct Inventory' as default....so why can't it be an option to have 1, 2, or all 3 checkboxes selected as default?
