Hello, we need a way to, when splitting an order, be able to split the tax and freight as well. When more than one item is on an order, if we need to split them we need to be able to provide a packing slip that has the accurate tax amount for that item. It is currently lumping any freight and tax on one shipment. There are several improvements that need to be made for splitting orders. Ability to apply a new order number, ability to cancel one of the orders, (in cases where we are splitting because one item is unavailable, and in cases where a customer cancels only part of their order). As a business, it's essential to have the capability to generate shipping labels without repeatedly creating new customer entries for the 'from' field due to several reasons. This is especially important when you need to create labels for scenarios like returns or receiving items from third parties, where the sender isn't you. Creating a new customer entry every time you need to make a label is time-consuming and inefficient. It adds complexity and unnecessary steps to the process. To streamline this, having a default 'from' address option is crucial, but allowing for customers to change it to an empty and editable field would add a layer of usability and efficiency to Shipstation. It simplifies label creation and ensures a more user-friendly experience, as users won't have to repeatedly create new customer entries and then delete them when they're no longer needed. Understandably, Return labels are an option, but unfortunately I have yet to be able to make one due to multiple errors that had to be escalated and have not been resolved. Additionally, this approach reduces data clutter in your system. Creating numerous customer records for one-time or infrequent senders can make it challenging to manage and organize your customer data effectively. Moreover, it enhances security and privacy by reducing the need to input sensitive information repeatedly. With GDPR and other data protection laws becoming more popular, it's surprising to see Shipstation doesn't have an option to just create a quick label with empty fields. By avoiding the constant creation and deletion of customer entries, you also simplify database maintenance. This is especially important as our shipping needs scale over time. It offers flexibility for various shipping scenarios and is a cost-efficient approach, reducing potential associated costs (mainly time wasted) with creating and managing excessive customer entries. Efficiency and Time Savings: Creating a new customer entry for each shipping label can be time-consuming and inefficient. It adds unnecessary steps to the process, especially when you only need a one-time label for occasional purposes like returns or receiving items from third parties. User-Friendly Experience: Designing a system with a default "from" address option that also allows for "custom" entries, if selected, enhances the user experience. It simplifies the label creation process, reducing the potential for user errors or confusion. Users can focus on other aspects of the shipping process, making it more user-friendly. This can make it difficult to manage, search, or organize your customer records effectively. Having a custom label/blank field option prevents this data clutter. Avoiding the creation of customer records for every shipment helps maintain privacy and security by reducing the potential for data exposure or misuse. It helps businesses (and Shipstation), both big and small, prevent issues with GDPR or similar laws in the future. Maintenance and Cleanup: Constantly creating and deleting customer entries can lead to database maintenance issues. It's essential to periodically clean up and manage your customer records, and an option to create a custom "from" address (rather than being forced to create new "from" address entries and then deleting them) reduces the need for this ongoing maintenance. Scalability: If our shipping needs grow over time, it will become increasingly burdensome to manage a growing list of customer records by having to create and delete them constantly. Business Flexibility: Businesses often encounter various shipping scenarios, including returns or receiving items from third parties. Having a flexible system that doesn't force a permanent customer entry for these situations allows businesses to adapt to changing needs more easily. Time Efficiency: In some cases, creating customer entries just to delete them after one use is simply a waste of time. If I can just click "Custom Label" and fill everything out myself, that is far simpler and easier than trying to navigate around a system that isn't working or create a bandaid approach by creating customer records and deleting them after. Avoiding Validation Issues: International addresses can vary significantly in format and structure. With a customizable "from" address, users can input the sender's information exactly as needed, reducing the risk of validation issues that arise from rigid address requirements. Compliance with Local Regulations: Different countries have specific addressing conventions and regulations. A customizable "from" address allows users to adhere to these requirements, ensuring that international shipments comply with local laws and customs regulations. Ease of Copy-Pasting: When shipping internationally, there's often a need to copy and paste sender details from different sources. Having a customizable "from" address simplifies this process, reducing the chances of errors that can occur during manual entry. Efficient Handling of Cross-Border Shipments: Many international shipments require the use of multiple carriers and services. A flexible "from" address option ensures that sender information can be easily adjusted to meet the specific requirements of each carrier and service, enhancing efficiency. Privacy and Security in Cross-Border Transactions: For international business transactions, privacy and security are paramount. Avoiding the need to create and store customer entries for one-time or infrequent international senders helps protect sensitive information and reduces the risk of international data exposure. Hello, Currently, when our fulfillment centers print labels, all orders then become shipments and a UPS status is generated as "label created". The problem with this is that the order is not yet actually a shipment until the box is packed and the label is applied. The fulfillment centers scan each order internally to know that each box has been packed, but there needs to be a way to feed that information back into Shipstation so that orders stay "orders" until the fulfillment center verifies the shipment. Once this verification takes place, the order would then become a shipment and the first UPS status would be generated. Shipstation would then be able to look in "orders" at the end of the day to see if there are any order number still pending, rather than waiting until the first carrier scan to know if orders haven't been shipped. Most of us with large volumes aren't getting their boxes scanned at the pickup location, but at the first carrier sort. I know this is possible when the labels are generated via 3rd party software/API connection into Shipstation, so the functionality should also exist if we are printing packing slips and labels directly from Shipstation. It could be as simple as a CSV upload that the shipper provides from their scans of orders packed for the day. I look forward to hearing your feedback on this. Thank you.

I think there should be a way to sort by status unknown just like you can sort by delivered or in transit etc both on mobile and browser mode
