When I hand deliver or the customer picks up and I manually mark it as shipped, it requires me to select a carrier, so can you make a carrier in the drop-down that is "picked up" and does not request a tracking number to be put in and maybe make another carrier that is "hand-delivered" or "self-delivered" and also does not require a tracking number?

We need to be able to edit or delete customers from the database without having to upload a csv file. Below are a couple examples for when this would be helpful. I'm sure others here will agree that some simple database management would be greatly appreciated.
I recently had to correct a type-o in a customer record and the process is just unreasonable. Download an example .csv file, add ALL the customer information (not just what needs changing) upload the file, and finally make sure that the original profile was correctly overwritten. It should be as simple as hitting an edit button, changing what needs changed, and hitting save.
I have two customers with the same name. Lets call them John Smith and Smith Electrical Corporation. I send a package to Smith Electrical about once a month. John Smith ordered once from our website over two years ago. Whenever I type "Smith" when making a new order, guess who comes up as the first result! There's no need for John to still be in the system, why can't I easily delete his record?

We use a variety of shipping and freight options that are not available as carriers in shipstation. When we choose a shipping company outside of shipstation we will come back and manually mark the order as shipped. But when we go to select the carrier we are using, they are not available so we have to select "Other".
We should be able to create CARRIERS so we don't have to select "other" for every outside shipping company. Adding new carriers would make it easier to keep track of which carrier was used instead of relying on a tracking number and the carrier "other"

Update the customer on the status of their curb side order. When it's been picked, built, ready for pick-up, etc. Same workflow as shipped orders.

Mark as shipped only after it's scanned into the system. Need an intermediate status of "Label Printed". We get hundreds of orders each day and have the labels printed immediately. It is not easy to figure out which ones have actually been shipped and which ones just have the label printed.

Ability to Mark as Shipped by custom carrier. It will give opportunity to use ShipStation in any country.

Branded tracking page is awesome, I'd like to propose that devs expand to include the big 4 (FedEx UPS DHL & USPS) on Mark as Shipped orders.

Sometimes customers return or sent the package themselves, So In that case we want to Mark the order as returned because if we try to return with the normal process it creates a return label and has to select courier company. it also charges some amount for creating return label. But we suggest to see this feature ASAP so that we can prevent the charges and keep the record of the Return arranged by customers themselves.

Currently, you cannot add automation, or customer carriers, for your click and collect orders.... Have to use the Mark as Shipped manual update. Would be great if you could add a Click & Collect service, so any of us offering this to our customer on our sites could use automation to update these orders to shipped!

Like SO MANY ShipStation user requests, this idea has been brought up before, voted on as a good idea, and then NOTHING happens!
People please! Regardless of whether you actually need this feature or not...let's vote this thing through the roof and see if ShipStation actually does something!
And ShipStation....please listen to us when we say we want something made! Stop saying "please vote on this (...and then we'll secretly do absolutely nothing)". Man-up and get your hands dirty! ;)
The Problem -
Our business needs an option to always have the 'notify marketplace' and/or 'notify customer' selected for orders.
We often have different staff members operating our SS page, and if 1 person forgets to select those checkboxes, then our clients email us saying "Why haven't you processed the order! Where is the tracking detail? Rar rar rar!"
It selects the 'Deduct Inventory' as default....so why can't it be an option to have 1, 2, or all 3 checkboxes selected as default?

Currently, whatever date you go in and update shipping tracking in Shipstation is the date that is passed back to BigCommerce. So, for instance, if I have an order that shipped on the 5th, but I don't enter the tracking until the 10th, the 10th is the ship date that is passed back to BigCommerce. This is erroneous information that gives both the customer and staff the impression that the order was not shipped until the 10th when in fact it was shipped on the 5th.
