Is there a way to assign certain carriers to certain stores?
Or block certain carriers from certain stores?
Use case:
We have our Amazon store connected. We would only ever ship with Amazon Buy Shipping. I'd like to be able to block our other carriers from showing for orders on our Amazon store.
Another use case:
We fulfill orders for a client, using their fedex account. When shipping their orders, I only want to see rates from their fedex account. And similarly, when shipping orders from other stores, I want to HIDE our client's fedex account options.
Is there a way to do this currently?

Hello @info86!
Thanks so much for your post in the Community! While we don’t currently have a way to block or prevent carriers from being used for specific stores, there is a great workaround. You can set up an automation rule that automatically assigns a carrier, service, and package based on which store the order comes from.

I’ve also included our Help Center article on creating automation rules. If you need any extra help setting this up or run into any issues along the way, don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team at support@shipstation.com—they’ll be happy to assist.
Happy Shipping!

Thank you for this reply, Cara.
Unfortunately the automation rules aren't a workable solution for Amazon Buy Shipping:
1) The carrier list changes based on the Amazon API and what options Amazon is allowing for an individual order. This changes based on the product, customer, shipping address, and delivery timeline.
2) We still have to open the rate shopper to choose the fastest or cheapest option offered by Amazon, which leave the opportunity for a shipper to select a non-amazon method.
