We had a wild error yesterday that we only caught when it was too late and order was shipped resulting in $100 loss plus negative customer satisfaction and likely negative feedback.
Without any warning from shipstation 3 different people orders got combined into one. Shipstation does not allow combining orders from different users with different addresses.
Buyer A who got the whole order had 3 orders in total which we combined into one as we always do.
Buyer B had 2 orders.
Buyer C had 3 orders.
Somehow shipstation lumped all these 3 orders into buyer A order. We print pull sheets and ship using those. No way for us to know buyer A order had also buyers B and C orders.
I chatted with customer service today and they copy pasted a whole list of reasons why this would happen and they’re all errors on shipstations end.
My question is if anyone else has ever had this issue because now we won’t combine orders at all in fear of having this happen again.
