Standardized Addresses When Verified Function **Problem**

We came across a problem with the "Standardized Addresses When Verified" Function arbitrarily changing the zip code on an address from Doral, FL from the one on the eBay sale. The correct address was in eBay, but when it populated over to the Shipstation account, it changed the zip code, but put that it was a "green" verified address. This happened 3 different times with Doral, FL, and UPS hit us with correction fees. The zip code that was originally on the eBay order was correct, and Shipstation's correction was wrong. So people beware if you have this function selected on your account, we would suggest you remove it, so that this doesn't happen to you. We ship so many packages a week, that my shippers only pay attention when Shipstation tells us an address is not verified. So to have this kind of mix-up on one they say is correct, is disconcerting, and needs to be reviewed with the tech team.  If they are working with old zip code zones, their systems need to be updated. We are going to disable the function, and keep a closer eye on it. Especially this area of Florida.  They gave me these steps to disable if anyone else wants to follow suit.

If you would like to disable these settings, please follow these steps:

1. From your ShipStation home tab, click the "Settings"
2. Click the "Selling Channels" located in the sidebar
3. Click the "Store Setup" from the Dropdown
4. Click the 3-dot menu that is beside your store
5. Click the "Edit store Details"
6. Scroll down, and you will see the "Standardized Addresses When Verified"
7. If you want to turn off these settings, kindly click the Box. You will know it's turned off when there is no check inside the box
