I'm curious if anyone has dealt with request to remove a customer's personal information from their systems in response to GDPR, CCPA or other privacy laws? ShipStation and its APIs don't seem to provide any functionality for this. And especially in the case of customers and orders that originate from a linked ecommerce system, it does not seem possible to update personal information and replace it with annoymized data.

 

Has anyone dealt with this successfully?

Hi @sfattahi,

I have, I had to get on live chat and request it to be done for me. The chat support agent had to send the request somewhere to be actioned.

It's unknown if there are plans to make it possible in the admin but I would have thought that it should be.
