Anyone have experience using an auto-cutter for 4x6 labels when printing batches? We have 2 or sometimes 3 total labels printed (Packing Slip(s) and Shipping Label) and are trying to save time tearing labels by using the auto-cut functionality. Zebra's printers with cutting addons allow you to send a "cut" command, but it isn't clear on how to do that with Shipstation. Anyone have any luck?

3 things.
1. Don't do it. The cutters are not really designed for labels. They are designed things like tickets etc. Unless you have the printer dialed in all the time, they will sometimes cut on the label and the glue gums up the cutter and causes so many issues. This comes from years of experience 🙂
2. There is no setting in SS for this. Its all done at the driver. For the zebra printers, I recommend downloading and using the Seagull driver for Zebra and TSC printers. It has a lot more options and much easier to use than zebra. https://www.seagullscientific.com/support/downloads/drivers/zebra/
3. Do yourself a favour and move to printing on demand at the packing table and just batch packing slips. The advantages is that you won't have to worry about breaking up all the labels as you will do them one at a time, and secondly, if you batch too far ahead, customers will get notification that their orders have "shipped" even if they haven't left your facility yet. Totally recommend looking into SS Scan to Verify and Print for this. You will thank me later 🙂
