Amazon is requiring certain items have a special "transparency" code attached to the order that verifies that the product is legitimately from the manufacturer.Is there any way to have a place within Shipstation for this to be scanned/uploaded into rather than having to go directly into Seller Central?
Hi, I think it would be great if "Ship Date" was a "Bulk Update" option. Right. now this is only possible to do inside each individual order (see attached photo). We are a direct-to-consumer e-commerce company that only ships Monday-Thursday. We would like to start printing our shipping labels on Friday and Saturday for Monday shipments. I imagine many other users are in the same position and this would help their shipping workload! This would help us greatly from an operational perpsective
Please add phone number to Advanced Search criteria. When a customer calls and leaves a message in most cases phone number is all we have to find his order.
When receiving PO's, there is the field to enter a Warehouse location.This field needs to be prepopulated to the default location, if a location already exists.We shouldn't have to remember where each and every product is located in our warehouses.This is a critical component to the receiving process. Without it, the PO receiving function is useless.Please implement this asap!Thank you!
At this point in time, ShipStation auto-pulls in the full price of the items into the customs declaration as part of the Etsy & Shopify integration. This is great and saves a lot of time when fulfilling orders. However, it does not currently auto-pull in the *discounted price* when an item is purchased at a discount, so as a short-term solution we need to manually adjust them to accurately reflect the declared value for customs. It would be really helpful if the *discounted price* were auto-pulled into the customs declaration rather than having to make manual adjustments.Benefits of implementing this feature would be: -Makes the order fulfillment process more efficient for sellers, in turn, faster delivery times for buyers.-Saves money and time for the buyer and seller. When the wrong item value (full price instead of discounted price) is auto-pulled into customs declarations, the buyer pays more than they should in taxes. Seller would then have to make time to connect with shipping carriers and confirm taxes paid, then arrange for refunds to the buyer. -Eliminates the chance for error when having to manually adjust prices in the customs declarations. Meaning time and money saved for buyer and seller.We hope to see this feature implemented soon. Thank you, ShipStation!
In Ship Station if we accidentally put an order number in wrong. There is no way to change it without deleting and starting over. This is time consuming. In the "OLD FORMAT" you could split a shipment and then put a new order number in and then merge together under the new order number. Now you can't do that with the new format. Please fix or go back to old format!

Well aware several members have requested this feature and I have contacted ship station several times regarding adding this feature. I was advised the ONLY way to get it added is to submit as a new feature request. Maybe if all users submit the same request multiple times a day and overload them they will take action.These are the responses I received back from support, "I can submit a request to our management to arrange a meeting or call with you. However, I would like to clarify that the outcome is likely to remain the same.""while we fully recognize the need for USMCA forms, they are not currently a supported feature in ShipStation. To be completely transparent, because this is a current feature limitation, the immediate technical resolution is to continue creating and printing the USMCA form outside of ShipStation." The whole point to using ship station is to streamline the process. Being forced to go offline for 1 document, or worse, hand bombing it, is not a solution by any means.
Hello,Currently Shipstation does not offer Direct Signature or actual signature guarantee delivery with DHL Express integration. This means that for now, Electronic Signature is the only verifiable signature upon delivery and can be forged by delivery drivers so that they can drop off packages without signatures. We recently had a situation where a DHL driver delivered a package to a customer and signed off the Electronic Signature as "Front Door" and left the package on the front step of the customer, which led to the package being stolen. Versus if the package was signed for, this would not happen, and the package would be delivered a different day if the customer was not available. This small addition would add a massive amount of security for our orders going forward as we generally ship high cost, handmade footwear and can't afford to lose out on packages to customers. Please consider this if possible! Thanks!
This is an issue for a Shopify store that has multiple locations:When an order or split order is shipped the tracking number goes back to Shopify order page but the LOCATION from which the order shipped from is not relayed along with the tracking number.This is a major issue for order confirmation going to the customer from Shopify. It is showing an incorrect ship from location. The other issue is after the order is complete in Shopify for me it is sent down to my POS system through integrated Modern Retail. The ship from location is critical to have inventory reduced by location correctly.Please fix this issue as soon as possible.
The problem here is that Shipstation is not updating Shopify in a proper way so that Shopify can send additional ship notifications to customers on new shipments beyond the original shipment. Meaning: 1. if a label is voided, not only does the customer not get a notification that the label was voided, but they don't get a notification of the new label's tracking number; and 2. if no label is voided but a new label is created (example, sending a new shipment for a replacement item sent out due to damage upon delivery or defect or lost in shipping, etc.), then same problem as #1. This can't be the way the integration to Shopify was designed. This is completely unacceptable and makes Shipstation and Shopify unusable together. We are getting massive numbers of customer service emails with confusion as to why their tracking numbers are showing canceled because they aren't getting the new tracking notifications on the new labels. Shopify has confirmed that in these two scenarios mentioned above, Shipstation is sending the new tracking details to the notes section of the order in Shopify, which does not send notifications to the customer from Shopify's end. The data needs to be sent to the order level, the same level that Shipstation sends the original tracking info to. It just needs to go to the same place every time so that Shopify is able to notify the customer of all new updates. This is business critical. Shipstation to Shopify integration is unusable without this. Thomas
Can we please have support for .webp images (currently only JPEG/JPG and PNG). webp is much better for use on websites. It would be really useful for our products with webp images to be able to display images on shipstation, as it is currently causing problems when picking items for orders since there is no image. We are trying to move away from JPEG and PNG to use only webp but cannot continue that process while it is not a supported file type on here.
Currently, when trying to use a "Ship From" location that's in another country the error The requested service is unavailable between the selected locationsI contacted support and they told me that this is because the Ship From location is in a different country than the country listed on my ShipStation account. They also said that this could be a useful feature, and I should submit it here.I am requesting that a new feature be added that allows "Ship From" locations in countries other than what's listed on the user's ShipStation account.The reason we need this is because we have suppliers in other countries that fulfill orders for us, and they ship to our country (US), but we need the ability to create the label and send it to them.
When marking orders as shipped, you must scroll several times to get to "UPS" at the bottom of the "Carriers" dropdown since it's in alphabetical order. If the most popular carriers (or the ones used most often by the user) are placed at the top of the list, it would make it much quicker to select. Thanks!
I don't understand why ShipStation's API is so limited in its functionality. I am limited to Customer Name, Item Keyword or Country Code when searching for orders or shipments. Customer ID or Email Address is common sense to find specific customer orders or shipments.
Hi! It would be great if you could create a purchase order for your products and have a field for "on order" items. that way you could tell what was on hand, on order, allocated... and then therefore be able to identify if you do not have enough product either on hand or in production to fulfill your orders. I am looking for a whole other inventory integration just so we can do that, when I'm finding shipstation is overall closer to the type of inventory tracking I need minus the on order field. Just a thought/dream!
I know this has been posted before, but it needs to be posted again:Please let us generate pick lists with no order limits. Right now the maximum number of orders for which we can create pick lists is equal to the number of orders that can be displayed on a page (500). We regularly have many more orders than that, so we print two pick lists and then manually combine the two. It's very messy.
Please add functionality to Shipstation which will allow us to have a "live scale" at all times. During our peak season we process between 1000-2500 orders daily and saving that one little click to to weigh the shipments will save us time and money. Thanks.
We need to be able to generate packing slips for orders through your API.
It is very important to see this so we know what went wrong when we ship the wrong item to a customer. This should be available in the details of each sales order in Ship Station.
Currently, when generating a return label, you can only generate a label for a single package. Many of our orders are sent as multiple packages. If a customer desires to return there entire order, there isn't an easy way to generate multi-package return labels for an existing shipment. We'd really love this functionality.
Currently during an exchange, we reship the original order and then have to change the packing slip by hand writing the changes. While we could create manual orders for each of these, right now customer information does not automatically fill in all of the time when creating an order. When this happens we can go to the customers tab and then search for the customer and then create an order from there, but this seems like an extra step. It would be convenience to have a "duplicate order" button that would create a new order to the same recipient directly from the orders or shipments tab.

Hello,The entire purpose of using ShipStation is to benefit from the preferred carrier pricing and integrated automation.Because it is not possible to schedule a pickup for Canpar on ShipStation the only solution is to go to the Canpar site to manually create a pickup request. To do so, Canpar obliges us to create one waybill on their website. The rate is much higher and defeats the purpose entirely.Everything is currently linked to our website to ensure a smooth, automated process without manual intervention. Having to log into another platform to redo work manually is inefficient and contrary to why we use ShipStation in the first place.Unless there is a proper solution in place, we will unfortunately have to suspend using Canpar through ShipStation, as the process is currently not viable for our operations.
Hello! Today I was trying to ship a package and had entered all of the address info correctly, and got a Green House Icon and "Address Validated" indicator but the label would not print and I kept receiving the "Address Format Invalid" error message in red. I spent a long time re-entering, double checking and clicking different shipping options but nothing worked. I finally spoke with support and then realized that I had accidentally entered the EMAIL ADDRESS in the "phone number" field. It was a very subtle mistake that was hard to catch, because the address was validated and the email was listed, but I had to see the tiny field text to realize my mistake!Once I moved the email address to the correct field (out of phone and into email field) everything worked fine.MY IDEA IS THIS: PLEASE HAVE AN ERROR MESSAGE FOR WHEN AN INVALID PHONE NUMBER OR EMAIL ADDRESS IS ENTERED OR IN THE WRONG FIELD!
