It would be great if ShipStation built a native Odoo connector instead of us using third party connectors.
Track Customer Order Frequency. Have the ability to place rules, report on the number of orders a customer has placed. For example: Joe has placed 3 orders, he receives a free gift. Adding a step to that, the frequency a particular item/sku gets ordered.
The commercial invoices created by ShipStation have two sections labelled "Special Instructions" and "Declaration Statements" yet there is no way to edit these sections when processing an international order.This is causing issues for us as a UK country, as we are unable to declare preferential origin on our UK/EU made products which are being sent to the EU. As such, duties are being charged incorrectly on these shipments. We need to add the following text to all commercial invoices in order to be compliant with Annex 7 of the UK/EU Trade agreements following Brexit:“(Period: from ...................................... to .......................................)The exporter of the products covered by this document (EORI NUMBER GB....................) declares that, except where otherwise clearly indicated, these products are of ... preferential origin.”Place and date:Name exporter (company / name responsible person)Quite simply, we need to be able to edit the Declaration Statement section of the commercial invoices, and this functionality is strangely missing within ShipStation currently....
We use a variety of shipping and freight options that are not available as carriers in shipstation. When we choose a shipping company outside of shipstation we will come back and manually mark the order as shipped. But when we go to select the carrier we are using, they are not available so we have to select "Other". We should be able to create CARRIERS so we don't have to select "other" for every outside shipping company. Adding new carriers would make it easier to keep track of which carrier was used instead of relying on a tracking number and the carrier "other" MANUALLY ADD UNIQUE CARRIERS

Hello! I am hoping that the shipstation team will take into consideration allowing sorting and filter by batch on the Orders tab. Please note that this is the only column that is not sortable/filter and it would be helpful to know which orders are in and not in a batch. Thanks!
Please add this field on the Picklist. Our fulfillment team packs our orders based on what is printed on the pick list. When gifts are ordered, customer usually adds a note they want added to their order so recipient knows its from them. Our team is unaware of this during packing the order as it does not appear on the pick list and we have missed several holiday gift orders requesting this note which is leading to our customers getting frustrated. PLEASE address this ASAP.
When we ship internationally, we ship a lot of packages that all have the same items. I wish there was a way that we could make a bulk action that applies the same customs declaration (description, quantity, value, HTS code, Origin) to hundreds of packages at once. Currently, the process where you have to enter 1 at a time is so time-consuming it's insane. Even if there is 1 item in the shipment it takes forever. When there are multiple items, forget it. Perhaps this could be included in an order import function and mapped, or perhaps it could be a bulk action that is applied. It seems like making this a bulk action feature would be very easy, and would certainly make the largest impact to our team.Ă‚Â Looking forward to your feedback!Ă‚Â
This feature has been begged for since 2012, and marked as in the "Planned" stage for 5 years. In the mean time EVERY main shipping platform has launched this feature (Shippo, Pirateship, Shipping Easy, Easy Ship, Easy post....). Lately I feel foolish for having invested so much time and effort in what I had always assumed as the most feature rich shipping platform out there. We stuck around when rates doubled 2 years ago as it was explained so we could continue to innovate and provide a superior product. Being able to provide a USPS return shipping label with every outbound shipment and not being charged until the label is actuatly used would be huge. What is the Status? Is this feature still in the works?
I see posts requesting this going back to 2016. How is this not a thing yet?Summary of the need:Everyone using external CRMs, helpdesk software, ticketing tools, etc...needs to be able to lookup an order in shipstation. Currently that requires copying the customer's name or order number in our CRM, opening a new window, navigating to shipstation, pasting the order number in the search field, executing the search, then clicking the order.We want a way to be able to bake a URL in our CRM that links directly to the order/shipment in shipstation.We've tried loading a url for search results like this:https://ship11.shipstation.com/orders/all-orders-search-result?quickSearch=[ordernumber_from_CRM]But when the page loads from an external source, the search results show ALL orders. We have been having an issue since March-April of this year. When changing an order in shopify after it has already been printed, we will void the label in shipstation then go over to shopify and change the order. It would then create an extra shipment which is the correct shipment but would not automatically cancel the original. I spoke with support and they explained there is nothing they can really do, due to an update from shopify. This can cause issues because if not manually cancelled the first shipment will still send out which in turn leads to customers getting more than what they paid for. Let me know if anyone has a fix.
I have a feature request to add additional automation rule options. We have a regular customer who we ship via FedEx Ground Collect and would also prefer to not be notified by email when their orders ship.The shipping account actions have options for selecting different accounts or 3rd party but nothing for FedEx Ground Collect.Also in the Shipment Notification actions we can select between different template options but there is no option to select 'Don't Send Email'.This is causing us to have to do multiple extra steps for this specific customer.
Sometimes our customers get confused when they receive one of multiple packages and open the package, there are not full items they ordered, because they only can see one tracking number and they don't expect more packages are coming. Sending or showing multiple package tracking numbers can help customers to know whats going on their orders and definitely reduce these concerns.
Shopify only imports the "base price" for products and for customs declarations. That object is "line_items[].original_price" But there is no reason Shipstation cannot use "line_items[].price" in the integration instead. It's so easy. You could even make a checkbox to choose which one to use in the Shopify integration settings.
Increasingly, foreign countries are passing legislation that requires certain customs numbers or codes to be included on packages, either identify the individual customer so tax can be collected, or identifying the marketplace that has already collected and remitted taxes. Some examples: Individual Brazil - CPF / CPNJ South Korea - PCCC Italy - CF / PEC China - Resident ID Marketplace Australia - ABN Norway - VOEC Shipstation doesn't currently support any of this natively. There is no warning when shipping an order to these countries, there is no field to put this data, you're required to make your own workaround by just adding it manually to the company line of the address. Even worse, Shipstation address verification will often strip this information out entirely. The only advice given is to turn off address verification, which is not ideal. Shipstation should be ahead of the curve and natively support these new changes to global shipping requirements. I'd expect a company whose focus is on shipping to be on the leading edge, keeping track of these new requirements and making sure that Shipstation users are compliant and not wasting time or money sending shipments that are not compliant and will create headache on the back end.
It would be great if there could be a feature where you can scan the barcode on a packing slip, and bring up the gift message to print on a small label. We have so many gift messages (especially at Christmas) and it takes ages to search for them manually!
Some of our customers are pissed because during black friday they had to pay more for import fees due to shipstation automatically setting the customs value to the full price and not taking into account discounts. They first said this is policy and Canadian customs requires the actual price and not what a customer paid. I contacted Canadian customs and they said this is not true and they want the value the customer paid for the item. When i told Shipstation this they recommended manually changing the declaration pricing on each international order and said to leave this issue as a "feature request" here. So here I am requesting Shipstation makes a feature that complies with other countries import laws. Weird I have to ask for that but yes this "feature" would be nice to have and I find it strange its not something thats already implemented
The Shipments section has this column available, but it would be helpful to also have this in Orders. It would make open orders more scannable (by eye) and sortable based on the print status. For example... If a customer wants to change their order, and we see the packing slip has been printed, we know it's being picked and we need to stop it before it ships. And so on.
We are using ecwid or Lightspeed e-series and currently only the tracking number is sent back to the store. We need the carrier name and tracking url. It shouldn’t be difficult to send this back to the ecwid store. thanks
With carriers such as Aus Post, sometimes parcels are delivered without updates made to tracking. It would be a great feature if we could manually change the status of a shipment to delivered to clear up our In Transit list. This will help us with monitoring shipments that have not yet been delivered.

I'd like to be able to see how much weight was totally shipped out last month or last week or this whole year.Can you please add this functionality? ShipStation is a great tool for shipping items but it shouldn't force all orders to be paid before they are shipped. We ship a lot of orders that are "paid" by purchase order and having to mark them as paid in ShipStation in order to ship them creates accounting issues. When we pull the orders Into Quickbooks, they come across as paid and we have no automated way of tracking unpaid invoices. I like the idea of identifying orders in ShipStation that are not paid but let me decide if I want to ship them!
Hello,I'd like to be able to be able to see and export "In Stock" and "Committed" columns as part of the inventory export reporting. Currently, you can only view this data on the ShipStation interface in the Products > Products section by turning on these columns, but these columns are not shown as part an export to a CSV file. Neither "In Stock" or "Committed" is available to even be viewed in in the Products > Inventory section. Similarly, the Insights > Reports > Inventory Status Report doesn't show "In Stock" or "Committed". Currently, the export will only show "Available" (which doesn't take into account "Committed" inventory), and "Allocated" which requires a manual process.Please add this very useful information to either the Inventory Status Report or the export from the Products > Inventory section.Thank you
