It would be amazingly helpful to know how many items are in such order. I currently divide them up by the quantity of items in each order but a big square with how many items should be in that order would be AWESOME! 😀
It would be great to be able to sort orders by the Item Sku or Item Name column when there are multiple items in an order. Today there is no real sorting of those b/c it sorts on "Multiple Items" instead of the actual skus. In a perfect world, you could concatenate the SKUs alphabetically and sort on that. This would allow us to print large batches of similar orders together. We send many orders that have 2 skus in each order. One is a Welcome Pack and the other is one of 10-20 different SKUs. If we could sort that column where it would sort by the unique sku, we could print one big batch then separate the list as opposed to filtering and printing 20 batches of labels. Ideal sort would be: [SKUA + Welcome Pack] [SKUA + Welcome Pack] [SKUB + Welcome Pack] [SKUB + Welcome Pack] [SKUC + Welcome Pack] ... This could work for larger orders too, but may not be as useful. This would also be nice if the "Group By" feature functioned in the same way to group identical multi item orders.
Shipstation really needs a simple EDIT button on the customer list so that address and email contacts can get added. They especially need an EDIT option for the order number for orders. I've never used a software where the ability to EDIT is so locked down.
The customer list is in dire need of an update. You can't manually add a customer to your list without an email address, which is crazy. One of the reason for a manual order is that you may not have an email address.Also, you can't manually edit the Customer info afterwards.This is a pretty basic feature and I guess I just expected it would be there.
We have a company store that sells to the world market. Countries in Asia (Chinese/Japanese/Korean) use 2-byte, non-Roman, unicode characters in their names and addresses. These address will have last characters filtered or altered when printed. It is annoying and risky to loss, not able to print them properly. As more and more companies sells internationally, it is good to prepare ShipStation ready for world markets.
Shipstation went 3 days without importing any orders because there was some unspecified "error". I just had to hit the refresh button manually to get Shipstation to import all the orders. I would very much like an email notification when this error comes up so I can login and hit refresh. I don't daily use ShipStation so not knowing this is happening is very annoying.
Currently the ShipNotify and List Shipments API requests only return the master tracking number for an order. We need it to return all tracking numbers for an order.
Ability to Mark as Shipped by custom carrier. It will give opportunity to use ShipStation in any country.
When creating a MANUAL NEW ORDER we LOVE the pulldown window titled:Paste US Address 🡇Where you paste ALL of the customer info.Problem--->No matter what order, I cannot get the email address to properly plug into the right field. Please add a feature or mapping that differentiates between SHIP TO and SOLD TO information on the packing slip. We are a firearms manufacturer and we are required to ship firearms to licensed gun stores, not direct to our customers' homes. So for our orders the SHIP TO information is the gun dealer, and the SOLD TO information is our customer. Unfortunately we are currently unable to properly display the SOLD TO information on our packing slip. This becomes an issue because the gun dealer recipient needs to know who our customer is to call and complete the transfer. I can see this also being an issue for other businesses as well, e.g. in the case of gifts, etc.
I would like to setup daily UPS Pickups, or schedule them in advance instead of manually each time.
Currently ShipStation does not include or display the Deliver By Date for Amazon orders. This is a critical piece of information. The ship by is given but that does not help the shipper to select the service to use. The requested shipping service is given but in many cases if you receive an order on Thursday for example at 2pm vs 10pm the requested service will be the same but the shipper may need to select Saturday delivery on the 10pm order and not the 2pm order. So really what matters is WHEN the customer has to get the items by. That is what should dictate what shipping service is used. So please add that data field into the feed and display it on orders as it will be helpful. Thanks!

Hi,The customs forms have stopped printing automatically with the label as per the end of March 2024.Manually printing out the forms is not practical for high volume shipments.Please can this feature be reintroduced.

Are you able to fix an issue so that label messages can be sent to UPS UK please.
We wish for the fulfillment location field on Shopify to be pulled over into Shipstation and available as a field on the packing slip. This would simplify our warehouse knowing which store is sending items from which location for packing and result in less errors and manual work.
It would save me (& a lot of my fellow store owners) if we could create an automation based on a tag being added! Like if I add a certain tag to an order, it fires an automation off (like sending an email to a customer for example) -- this would save me SOOO MUCH time. And many others. There are often a lot of error addresses so I would love to be able to add a "ERROR" tag and then it fires off an automation to send to the customer to help get the correct address. We do this not but much more manual and takes a lot of our time. Please vote community, let's make this happen!
Reshipping an order, by either using the "Create Another Shipment" button or restoring it, wipes all items from your pack slip. Default behavior should be to include all items. This seems obvious. Let's make this happen!
We get a large # of orders when we have special events and it is time consuming to look at orders and select the cheapest shipping, especially on orders over 1lb. It would be helpful if we could create a rule for a store to select the cheapest shipping option available. For us we would like to choose between UPS and USPS.
I'm currently looking into various methods to automate this on our end of things, but it would be a stand-out feature if I could input item dimensions and weight within my API call for uploading orders, and have a box size picked from a (user chosen) selection of standard box sizes. Perhaps a combination of Shipstation's Automations and creative coding could achieve this goal currently
tested on 3 computers, all 3 computers have not experienced this before. Our account uses Shipstation Connect which makes printing so much quicker than downloading then manually printing each label or whatever it is that needs to be printed.Starting today (March 28, 2024), we try printing 1 or more labels, and each computer gets the error I'll post below.At first we thought it was because we purchased insurance (which we never have done before)...so we purchased insurance (PostGuard insurance) today for 1 of the shipments. Ironically, the day we purchase insurance we get this error. Well, we cleared all cache, cookies, and started fresh. Even uninstalled, restarted comptuer, reinstalled Shipstation Connect. We get same results even if/when we try to print label that is same as we have done for years. Support has been working with me through livechat for over hour now, and they are submitting ticket to senior engineer(s) I'm told. Anyone else experiencing this?We can download file, then manually print each file, but what a pain in the rear.
I work for a small building business. We do fulfillment and prep work for clients to send to customers and to Amazon. All of my clients like knowing there inventory so I've had to manually track it myself, which has been a bit of a hassle at times. I started setting up inventory for my fulfillment products on Shipstation to try and lighten the load of tracking it myself. It has worked great for some of my clients stores, but I have a couple clients with bundles and kits with their own SKU that have multiple single SKU's in them. This makes the inventory tracking complicated because there is no way to set up bundles in a way that still subtracts from the single SKU's inventory. I think this would be a very helpful add on to the software. For me personally and I'm sure for more businesses who deal with inventory tracking and monthly inventory reports.
Need to be able to search inventory by UPC! I cannot scan my barcode and find the product to easily update incoming and outgoing shipments of inventory! Please make this possible ASAP!
In the Products panel you can't enter a UPC in the search box and get the product info as a result. You can't even find it if the UPC in the description, it has to be in the title. A use case would be you picked the wrong item and now you have to figure out where the heck to put it back. You already have a barcode scanner with carriage return and ShipStation open. Click on Products, click on the search box, scan the barcode. "Oh, it goes in bin A-2-3-7."
