We had a package that was not scanned by USPS and it looked like it got lost. We do not ship with USPS often so we need to schedule a pickup. They are only scanning the confirmation number and not the package. When I asked the carrier, I was told that they only need to scan the confirmation number. In the end the customer did get thier package the day after they called. My question is do you have USPS scan your package(s) or do they just scan the confirmation number that you get when a pickup is scheduled. Our order number is not on the confirmation, I do put the number on the order in the notes section but I don't think that will help if we have to file a claim. Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions.

We go the route of closing out our shipments and having them scan the resulting manifest.
Shipments > End of Day > Manifests. Then close out the orders and print the form, which looks like this:

Thanks Jeremy, I will give that a try. I know in the past when I tried to do the EOD it did not work, it would not find the orders for the day. Thanks again PR
