Developing an eCommerce app that utilizes ShipStation API v2. Our app uses the API to get rates and print shipping labels for customer orders.
When requesting rates with delivery_confirmation parameters (direct_signature, signature, adult_signature, etc.), the returned rates do not include the associated fees. However, when creating labels with the same delivery confirmation settings, the final label cost correctly includes these fees. This creates a significant pricing gap between estimated rates and actual costs. This discrepancy occurs across multiple carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS)
Is this a known limitation of the rates endpoint in API v2? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
