I need accurate revenue information by state. In Insights>Customer Overview>Sales by Location shows the revenue by state but this is wildly inaccurate. (about $14,000 off for one state).
After speaking to support I found that, "Insights calculates revenue based on the sum of product totals for shipments sent to each location, excluding taxes and shipping fees. The revenue value is derived from the product value listed for each item in the shipment."
The issue here is I use product bundles on most orders, which set the product totals in the shipment to $0. Wouldn't it be more accurate if ShipStation calculate revenue from the cost summary product $ instead (which comes from the marketplace)? The unit cost for a SKU underneath Shipment Items varies based on discounts used and I'm not sure its even possible to change that value.
