Manual add or edit items on existing orders

I've have two suggestions:

1. Allow order's that have sent over manual editing to number of products, add products, subtract products. 

2. When generating a new order from an existing order allow these same edits to be made. Especially adding products. It would be so much easier than adding a manual order and it ensure the order is closely tied to the original order.

I support the recommendations here. Occasionally I have an item that is damaged in shipment on an order. So what I do is "Create Another Shipment" to keep as much information in the same place. However, I can't seem to manually add items to an empty shipment.
