Inventory Management

We are considering using ShipStation but have a question about inventory management.  Does Shipstation have parent/child functionality with their inventory management?  We price discriminate our products based on the channel (wholesale vs. retail, etc) and therefore have more than one SKU pulling from the same inventory base.  Can shipstation manage inventory this way.  Any thoughts on best practices for set up?  Is it best to enter each price variant as a different SKU in Shopify or is it better to enter the various priced products as variants within an individual SKU.

The functionality in ShipStation you are looking for is called "Product Aliases". It will allow you to designate multiple SKUs to subtract inventory from the same base product.
