Missing field in UPS carrier setup

Hello,

I want to report an issue when you add UPS as a carrier on https://ship13.shipstation.com/settings/carriers

Basically when you add UPS as a carrier, in the popup form, it should ask for an "Invoice # or ID" because otherwise UPS may lock the customer account due to security issues.

I'm just mentioning it because we added UPS as a carrier the other day and shipped a bunch of packages BUT the account was locked the following day because they flagged our activity as fraud. We couldn't ship anything that day and the issue took hours to resolve.

It's all good now but I'm just reporting this issue so others won't have issues in the future.

Thank you for your post in the community! 

You're right — that requirement was removed during the major update last year, both on our end and UPS’s.

Authentication is handled directly through UPS by having users sign in when connecting their accounts. If they're experiencing issues with that process, it’s best to have them contact our support team for assistance.

We also have a help article on reauthorizing a UPS account, briefly covering the OAuth process.

If the connection is flagged as fraud during OAuth, they must contact UPS directly for further resolution.
