Custom Text for Shopify Checkout

My Shopify store uses the ShipStation integration to calculate shipping rates at checkout. In the past, I've used the Description field in ShipStation > Settings > Selling Channels > Store Setup > Edit Store Details > Checkout Rates > Edit Rate to display custom text on the frontend at  checkout. For example, displaying "3-7 business days" for a particular carrier and service. However, something seems to have changed in ShipStation's system which now sends both the custom information in the Description field ("3-7 business days") AND the turnaround time estimated dynamically by ShipStation ("2 business days") at the same time.

Not only does this make for a terrible customer experience, but it causes headaches on my end when customers don't understand that the dynamically-generated text is only transit time which doesn't include handling.

It would be extremely helpful to have a checkbox in the settings next to that field to show only the custom text on the Shopify frontend. From the conversation I had with ShipStation customer service today, it sounded like other customers have also requested this update. Posting here for others to discuss and voice their opinions.
