Note add/change alert

To help our work flow, we use notes feature alot between customer service and our shipping department.  When customers make a change to an order or something customer service puts a note to our shipping department in an order.  We really need an alert to have a some kind of an alert on an order that a new note was put in an order to alert our shipping department to check on that new note for an order so a change doesn't get missed.   Right now we try to have them always just check notes for every order they do before shipping but they could work on an order several times before it actually goes out the door which makes this very time consuming.  If they had an alert to  help them if a new note was added to that order that alert could help them not miss something and help them be more timely in not always having to constantly check for new notes.
