Hey everyone,

So, I've got this situation that's driving me nuts. I'm trying to get Shopify's 4-character order numbers to play nicely with ShipStation and Zapier, but they just don't want to match up. Here's the deal:

  • Shopify-->ShipStation: Shopify sends a 4-character order number to ShipStation, which is displayed correctly/as expected in ShipStation (e.g. Order # 2350).
  • ShipStation-->Zapier Connection: Instead of sending the 4-character order number to Zapier, ShipStation sends a long, entirely different ID (e.g. SEAuto-lWkR9qQvQ02AaFKERg9Itw).
  • Why It's Important: I need these order numbers to match in ShipStation and Shopify for our Slack channel automation to work effectively. 

Has anyone run into this before? Or have a trick up your sleeve to fix it? I can really use a hand here.
