Copying shipping mappings from one store to another

We have recently had to add some new stores under Selling Channels to help with segregating orders for distinct warehouse buildings. The Shipping Services on the new stores should match those from an existing store.

It is rather tedious to have to rebuild all the Requested Service<->Shipping Service mappings for each new store setup.

Is there a way that instead of adding each service mapping one by one, the Shipping Services from one store could be mass-copied to the new store? This would greatly reduce the setup time and the chances for errors during configuration.

I asked support about this, and they said it is not currently possible, but that I should come here and suggest it as a feature to add.
