We have 3 different UPS accounts, each with specific services discounted.

For example:
UPS Account 1 has discounted rates for UPS Ground.
UPS Account 2 has discounted rates for UPS 2nd Day Air.
UPS Account 3 has discounted rates for International.

In Shipstation, it does not allow us to enable/disable services for each account; if you change 1 of the UPS accounts, all 3 change. This is a problem. Our shipping department is then offered 3 different options for UPS Ground for example, with only 1 of them at the discounted rate.

UPS says this is how they needed to set us up, and Shipstation support claims there is no possible way to set each account to offer only specific services, they all have to be the same for some reason. So instead of 10 different services to sort through, our shipping department has 30, with only 10 being the optimal choice, spread out in different accounts.

We can't be the only users with this issue? Why would 3 different account numbers be synced in the back end? Doesn't make sense.

Hello @mur!

Thank you for your post in the community! Support correctly explained that if you select available services for one carrier, the exact services will be enabled across all accounts with that carrier.

Let’s take this opportunity to gather more feedback from the community about the importance of this feature. We genuinely value your input—your fantastic idea helps drive our growth and continuous improvement!

Happy Shipping and Happy Holidays!

Hi Cara,

Thank you for your response. I just don't understand why it is that way.

What use case makes sense for different accounts to be synced, instead of allowing the user control? This seems like a purposefully coded constraint in the back end, I just don't see any rationale for forcing it that way.
