This is a major issue right now for us; we're using two separate platforms due to the lack of such a simple feature. Can Royal Mail 24 & Royal Mail 48 (not to be confused with Tracked24 & Tracked48) be added so we can use one system?It's a real annoyance, and because of this one small feature, we're constantly looking for a better platform! It's so frustrating!
We have a few websites that sell products to wholesalers. For example we will sell a case of a single SKU. Each case has 12 units. It would be nice if SS could allow us to setup virtual bundles that deducted multiple units of a single SKU.
On every order I ship I get a ad above the print shipping label button saying use this shipping service to save money. #1 the cost savings is always wrong.#2 that ad covers the print shipping label button.Please give me an option to turn off this ad or move it so it doesn't cover the print shipping label button.see screen shotThis is horrible usability...
The cost of setting up a new workstation continues increasing due to Windows license costs. Being able to use linux machines would be a lifesafer.
I sell on multiple platforms (amazon, ebay, walmart, and Etsy) but my inventory is stored at amazon's warehouses. The feature I'm requesting is to add support for my multichannel orders to ebay and walmart that would allow amazon logistics to be blocked as a carrier. I can do this manually within my seller central account but that defeats the purpose of shipstation. I have included a picture that shows the block amazon logistics button highlighted. This feature was added in June of this year as an additional option for multichannel fulfillment. The reason this is necessary for me is that Walmart and Ebay don't allow amazon logistics as a carrier for orders placed on their platform.
For example, I have two warehouses with 4 users in each. Why I can't assign an order to multiple users or a user group? Why are you only allowing to assign it to an individual user? If there is an option to assign an order to a user - there should be an option to do that to a group of users!!!
We would love to be able to assign selling channels to individual locations - for example, we want to have manual label creation available from our HQ, but not from the retail locations.
check out lightspeedretail.com, it is a complete POS for retail brick and mortar and webstore, does the inventory, enables you to check inventory from anywhere you can get a wifi connection! Works off a laptop, iPad and iPhone, good for trade shows, etc etc, a shipping interface would be PERFECT!
I have tried the âCreate Another Shipmentâ option in V3, however the problem is that it does not carry forward the item detail from the original shipment into the new shipment. Therefore at the end of the month when I reconcile the inventory, it does not show that we in fact shipped 2pc of whatever item it was, it only records the original item shipment. Please pass along my comments to the developers as this function is essential to our order processing, inventory management as well as our month end reporting.
The shipping cost isn't exposed in ShipStation. This means that we are unable to update the shipping cost with our contracted FedEx rate when we mark the order as shipped through our API. This also impacts the Shipping Cost report, and other ShipStation reports as well. If there isn't a shipping cost on the shipped record, then the shipment doesn't appear on the report. There is a complete lack of visibility to shipping costs to the stores we serve.The idea? Expose the shipping cost in the API so we can update it properly.
Hi, I currently use the ShipStation integration to my Walmart Marketplace and I really like the functionality that it offers me when I'm fulfilling my own orders. However, with the expansion of WFS from Walmart, I've shifted some of my inventory to fulfilled through that service and unfortunately none of that data gets pulled into my ShipStation account. I'd really love to be able to have all of my WFS order information pulled into my ShipStation account so I can see all the same data for those orders and products as I can for the products that I fulfill myself. Unfortunately, Walmart's platform is far behind others (like Amazon for example) and the usability, available reports, ability to track meaningful information, and complete lack of mobile support is really hindering my growth with them. If ShipStation would be able to pull in the order information, it would be incredibly useful. If it would be possible to pull these orders into ShipStation, it would also be great to see all associated costs for that transaction (Walmart fee, WFS fee) to be able to see the net amount that I receive from Walmart for that sale after all of their fees are accounted for. When we decide to send a shipment VIA Amazon MCF, Shipstation creates an MCF order, but uses a random string.Can we have shipstation to just send the ordernumber we import/create instead? It's hard to locate this order on Amazon if we ever need to either cancel or search up some information.There's no correlation between the order on shipstation and Amazon.
I know this has been posted before but it would be so helpful. It would save so much time for my company to have an automation rule that allows for orders with multiple boxes to be automated. Just throwing this out there again. Does anyone know of a shipping platform that allows for this?
Allow purchase of UPS Ground Saver Service through Amazon Buy Shipping
After having numerous conversations with someone in support, they recommended that I post here to have this issue be seen as there was nothing they can do.Each time I create a label and use ShipStation's UPS rate, rather than my own, I receive an error message when trying to "create and print". This is with Ship Station connect on the computer. I have been having this problem for about a month. "ShipStation was unable to create the label." I then have to close that error and click "create and print" again for the label to load as it is supposed to. I was advised that UPS notification that $100 of declared value is covered" is triggering an error in ShipStation and there is nothing can be done but to post here. This is extremely frustrating. My support request was # 6735149 if someone can look that conversation up for more details and help resolve this issue. Surely I can't be the only one having this problem. I
UPS knows to pick up a package that ready for pickup without having to have a daily pick up.
The column “Shipping Account” has “Billing Account” Data in it. Then the Filter titled “Shipping Account” only filters by the Shipping Account leaving “Billing Account” data included in the column unfiltered.Suggested Fix:Shipping Account should only have the Accounts that are owned by the ShipStation userAdd a New Column called Billing Account, which will include both the Recipient Accounts #’s and the ShipStation user Shipping Account #’s, depending on who was billed (Prepaid, Freight Collect, Third Party)
We ship live plants, which are temperature sensitive. Depending on the weather at the destination location, we use special insulated packing materials and heat packs. Currently, we have to search for the weather at the destination location in order to make a judgement about the best way to ship. This takes a lot of time and effort. It would be really amazing if there were the ability to pull weather information into shipstation. A simple high and low at the destination location would be perfect! Thanks for considering, Jesse
I organized our shop floor by attributing warehouse locations to each area. I did this alphabetically, creating over 20 zones. After this, I uploaded a spreadsheet to our inventory, attributing the appropriate warehouse location to each item in our inventory. We have about 800 items. This worked well uploading a .csv file and it was super satisfying to finally have success after many support ticket interactions.My goal in doing this was to be able to pick our orders in the exact order that they are arranged on our shop floor. The packing slip is my preferred document to work with when picking orders because it has all the customer and order information on it, including any notes from the buyer, which I have customized with css.I was under the impression that because there is an option to sort packing slips and pick lists by "warehouse location" that it would sort the products on the order by their location in the warehouse. This should absolutely be a feature for making it easier to pick items on orders. Sorting the packing slip by "name" and "quantity ordered" and the other data the packing slips could be ordered by DID WORK, which is why I made the assumption about warehouse locations being sorted by the locations we created.Anyhow, I think it would be AMAZING and would make it so much easier for businesses that have large warehouses with tons of product and for smaller businesses like ourselves that have a ton of different products and receive many orders each day to have the packing slip organize products by their location in the warehouse. This way, we aren't running back and forth picking items on the list that could be organized by location on the slip.Or, at the very least, products can be grouped on the packing slip by the same warehouse location?
When we are working in an order and weighing a package to calculate freight cost, it would be wildly helpful to have an option to automatically import the calculated freight cost from the bottom right corner directly into the cost summary section of the order. It would probably streamline everyone's work flow to have this as a feature. This way, we don't need to open the cost summary section and manually enter the shipping cost. It would eliminate a margin of error and make everyone's work flow more efficient. I cannot think of a case in which it would not be helpful to have a button to import the shipping quote right into the cost summary section. The freight cost needs to be there there anyway. Why not automate this?
With a sale on shopify, I may have to include more than one tracking number for an order made for a customer for a fulfillment. This is useful in the case of if I had to split an order. Recently we had a package that was returned to sender. The tracking information shows that we received the package, but we believe the package to be lost. Our team had not been regularly checking the delivery exceptions tab of the shipments page, so this order went into the error state without us knowing about it. If we could choose to turn on alerts when orders go into the delivery exception state, our team could have investigated and addressed the issue much sooner.
Hello, The low-stock threshold alerts would be massively more valuable if they sent an email notification, or even better if they connected with Slack to ping our inventory channel.Please implement something to handle this.
We have ShipStation connected to Shopify and Walmart.com. When we get an order for Walmart, each order item appears on a separate line regardless of if the same item is ordered more than once. For example, if the same item is ordered 3 times, then it appears as three separate line times on the label with a quantity of x 1 for each. However, when we print a label from Shopify, it groups the same item together and the quantity of that item changes to x 3 for example. This is causing picking errors because people are expecting each line item on the label to be a quantity of one. Is there a way to get Shopify orders to display each item on the label as their own line item even if the order quantity is greater than one?
Hi there, We use Royal mail as one of our shipping carriers, who offer an SMS and email notification as part of their service. Within Shipstation there is an option to select whether you wish to opt in for this service, which has to be done per shipment. We send approx 650 parcels per day via Royal mail, therefore takes a fair amount of time to do this manually per order. I think it would be a great option to allow these to be selected by default, or to be able to automate the opt in of these notifications. Many thanks,Dan
