We would like to give our clients one-time access to Shipstation just to integrate their stores with our SS account. For example, one needs to be logged into Shopify store admin account in order to approve SS-Shopify integration.

If a store owner doesn't want to share admin rights to their store, they could log into Shipstation with restricted access, and add their store by themselves. And to keep other SS stores confidential, there should be an option to hide them somehow. All ideas (and new functions) welcome 🙂

Hello!

Thanks for posting this idea!

ShipStation currently has an open beta for a new add on that may provide what you are requesting. The Third-Party Logistics Provider bundle allows a ShipStation account to act as a fulfillment provider for other ShipStation accounts. The client accounts can connect with you via invitation and then delegate certain orders to the 3PL ShipStation account - the 3PL account then uses ShipStation to create the labels for the orders. ShipStation then notifies the client account of the tracking and status details.

We have a few help articles that describe the program and processes involved. I recommend you start with the 3rd-Party Logistics Provider Bundle (Beta) Overview article. Then review the following 3 to understand how the feature currently works from both the 3PL and client perspectives.

If you are interested in trying this new feature out, please contact our support team and request they enable the 3PL Provider Bundle add on for you or you can fill out this form to send the request directly to the 3PL enablement team.

Hello, Sarah,

We have joined the 3PL bundle now, it solved the issue we had. Still in beta testing, not perfect, but we believe it will get there with time dev team's effort.
