Assign users to default "Ship From Locations"

We have multiple shipping locations and I can't believe that I can't assign a user to a default "Ship From Location" and subsequently that "Ship From Location"s specific carrier accounts.  Please consider this feature request.

I see that setting a default ship from location per use was brought up in 2021, and 2 years later, it still isn't available. This would help any company that has multiple shipping locations and multiple users. Please consider this for future updates.
