Hello,
I accidentally handed a SurePost package to the USPS and they accepted it. I realized what I had done and retrieved the package.
Does anyone know what would happen if had left it at the USPS? Would the USPS have delivered it?
I find SurePost to be much slower than the USPS. SurePost packages are often delayed as well. It would be unethical to pay for the lower SurePost rate but give it to the USPS but I am just curious as to what would happen in case I make that mistake again.
Thanks.

Hello, @michael18!
Thank you for reaching out! If you’d like more details on what might happen to a package under these circumstances, we recommend contacting UPS directly. For cases like these, it's best to contact the carrier, as policies and processes vary once the package is in their hands and the ShipStation’s role concludes.
Generally, UPS will still deliver the package but may apply a fee adjustment afterward. If you have specific questions, their team would be able to provide the most accurate guidance.
Thank you, and have a wonderful day!
