Parcelforce Integration - Multi-parcel Shipments

Hi there, 

We are in the process of migrating from Parcelforce's old systems to their new system integrated with Royal Mail along with all of their customers. 

We have activated the new Shipstation integration with Parcelforce, however we are getting the error "The selected service allows only single-piece shipments" on their most popular services Express48 and Express24. 

On the old integration multi-parcel shipments worked fine with Express48 and Express24.

Is this really the case, and if so why? This change makes Shipstation nearly as good as useless to us as most of our ParcelForce shipments are multi-parcel.

Hello @info196!

Thank you for your post in the community! I connected with our development team, and they shared some helpful context. With Parcelforce integrating into the Royal Mail network—which currently does not support multi-parcel shipments—ShipStation is presently only able to support single-package shipments for Parcelforce and Royal Mail. 

The good news is that additional product development work is already planned for the new year, which will help us move toward supporting this capability in the future.

In the meantime, we do have an alternative option for the holiday season: if your workflow allows, multi-package support is available through the ShipStation API. This may be a helpful workaround while we work on expanding in-app functionality.

We truly appreciate your patience and feedback as we continue to improve the experience.

Does your team have an idea when this might be implemented in the new year? This will determine whether we make moves to an alternative provider to replace Shipstation as the current scenario cannot go on for months on end.
