In-store pick up trouble

We have in-store pick ups that come over with a tag in our automation rules- before the update the shipping address/name would come over same as their billing name/address so we could print our slips and it would show their name- now nothing comes over under the name/address so we can't print the slip without having to manually go into our Shopify account and add a shipping address/name. This is extremely frustrating and disappointing as this really affects our workflow and time- as we do not have time to manually add 100+ shipping address into Shopify during sales. Please fix this and allow their name to come over under the 'ship to address'.

Regarding your above question, I touched base with support on this, and they made me aware that Shopify pickup orders importing into ShipStation is a relatively new feature. When it was first released, a bug caused billing information to populate the “Ship To” address fields. That issue has since been corrected, and the current behavior, where shipping address fields are left blank for pickup orders, is now working as intended.

Because pickup orders don’t require shipping, the shipping address fields are intentionally left empty to prevent confusion or accidental label creation. We understand you may have preferred the previous behavior, but that wasn’t the intended functionality. If you'd like to see billing information populate the shipping fields, we’d be happy to treat that as a feature request and pass it along to our product team.

A blank shipping address shouldn’t prevent you from printing packing slips. If you're encountering issues with packing slip printing, we recommend reaching out to our Support team so they can help troubleshoot further.
