Help Needed with Packing Slips in ShipStation for products with variants on Shopify

CognitorX

Hey everyone,

We recently switched from Zenstores to ShipStation, and we’re encountering a major issue with how product variants appear on our packing slips. Our Shopify store uses product variants, such as different colors and additional options for products like Product X, which customers select through two drop-down menus.

Here’s what we need on the packing slips:

  • The main product name (e.g., "T-Ship Japanese Design").
  • On a separate line, we need the variant for the color (e.g., "Red").
  • If the customer selects a third option (another variant), we want that to be listed on its own line as well.

Currently, the packing slip displays all of this in a single line, like this:

T-Ship Japanese Design / Red / Additional Badge.

We’ve tried multiple HTML configurations, but nothing seems to separate the product name from its variants. The [Product_Name] or [Item_Name] always combines the product name with all the selected variants directly from Shopify.

Is there any way to fix this formatting issue? We’d appreciate any guidance on how to properly structure the packing slips in ShipStation.

Thank you for your help!
