Need the ability for the automation rules to see multiple item orders. So you can create logic that IF it includes this SKU and also this SKU it will process these rules. This should be able to be done for as many items in the order. The current automation rules do not work well if you have multiple skus that get sold together in a shopping cart.

This features has been a request for years. Please make it a top priority. We love using your solution but are also evaluating other options because of this one lacking feature. We use Shipstation to manage production as well as shipments, and most of our orders contain multiple skus, making most of your automation rules useless to us for many of our orders. Specifically, we offer around 25 different product types managed by 5 different departments. If we sell wall art and glassware, an automation tagging each department or product type is necessary so both departments can work on their respective orders at the same time based on a tag, rather than having to assign to one and wait to assign it to another. Currently, you are our best option, but it would be very easy for a competitor to come in and disrupt your business by filling in the gaps your customers have been requesting for years.

Hello @wichitagiftco!

Thank you for posting in the community! A great solution would be to use product tags as criteria in your automation rules instead of item SKUs. We’ve got a detailed article to guide you through the process that I have linked here for you.  If you need any further assistance with adding tags or have any questions, feel free to reach out to support@shipstation.com—our team will be happy to help!

Happy Shipping!
