It would be nice to be able to set an automation rule to send an email to clients X days after an order has been shipped.

I know this may not be precisely what you're looking for in terms of automation rules, but I wanted to share this just in case it can help. We absolutely do have a way to delay email notifications if you'd like! Check out this Customer Notifications article from our knowledge base.
