Do Not Auto Generate Invoice Number By Default

Hello ShipStation Devs. We only use manual orders. I would like an option to not have Auto Generate Invoice as the default. When ShipStation auto generates an invoice number and our shipping department forget to unclick the auto generate, and SS creates an invoice, it really messes up our tracking by invoice number.

Did you never get an answer on this? We have the same request. I cannot find an option to turn this off.

Thank you for your post in the community! Currently, this capability is not available in ShipStation. If you’d like to see this feature added, we encourage you to support it in the Community Feature Requests section of the Community.

You can add the actual number to the order in the Notes From Buyer section which will be searchable. Many of the other freeform lines are not searchable so don't use the others. Only other option is to delete and reenter order.
