It would be nice to have an email sent to our customer service team with the tracking and order information without sending an email to the customer. We use manual orders to handle warranties, replacements, and exchanges. We try to keep only 1 point of contact with the customer so it is easy to keep track of the interaction. Currently the customer service team goes through shipstation to find the manual orders and provide tracking information.
We have tried using our customer service email for all manual orders and it works well with the email notification. The main issue I have found is keeping track of what we have sent to customers. The customer's email is the main piece of data that groups all information together. Customers may use a different ship to address or name which makes it difficult to easily find what has been sent.
