It would be great to be able to sort orders by the Item Sku or Item Name column when there are multiple items in an order. Today there is no real sorting of those b/c it sorts on "Multiple Items" instead of the actual skus. In a perfect world, you could concatenate the SKUs alphabetically and sort on that. This would allow us to print large batches of similar orders together. We send many orders that have 2 skus in each order. One is a Welcome Pack and the other is one of 10-20 different SKUs. If we could sort that column where it would sort by the unique sku, we could print one big batch then separate the list as opposed to filtering and printing 20 batches of labels. Ideal sort would be: [SKUA + Welcome Pack] [SKUA + Welcome Pack] [SKUB + Welcome Pack] [SKUB + Welcome Pack] [SKUC + Welcome Pack] ... This could work for larger orders too, but may not be as useful. This would also be nice if the "Group By" feature functioned in the same way to group identical multi item orders.

Thanks so much for your idea! For orders that contain more than one item, we highly recommend creating product tags to apply to your orders. Once these tags apply to your open orders you can search and sort your orders grid by those tags. This article goes over how tags can help out in various aspects of ShipStation: https://help.shipstation.com/hc/en-us/articles/206638727-What-are-order-tags-How-are-they-useful- For more information about tags work or how to set up tags on your Products, please feel free to open a Support ticket by visiting our Help Center at help.shipstation.com

I second this. We moved to shipstation from a program which used to allow just that feature. we could set a threshold   of how few or many orders would have to be identical for it to create a batch of them and then if there were identical orders it would automatically create batches of those orders so we could quickly pick and pack all the orders which were exactly the same together .

say we set it to 5 min
if there were more than 5 orders with the same exact SKU and QTY of those sku then it would create batches of identical orders.

EX you have 10 orders with 1 SKUA + 2 SKUB
you would batch those then you would have a pick list of 10 SKUA and 20 SKUB
you know each order gets 1SUKA and 2 SKUB and you can pick and pack all orders which are the same very quickly and leaving little room for error since you are packing the same order over and over.

Without this it makes it very hard to filter matching orders to create batches this way.
I feel like something very similar to what you use for orders with matching addresses. it could create an order alert for orders which are identical then you could batch those orders quickly.

I have almost found a work around but the fact when using filters you cant use the filter of ONLY Contains.  so if you want to filter order you would have to write Does not contain and then list every single sku which it does not contain is just not possible. very frustrating
