What to do when split shipments go to different addresses?

A customer has placed an order for two items.  I was able to ship one and the other is on backorder.  When the second order is ready it needs to ship to a different address.  However, there is only one address on the order that is shared by both shipments.  How can I change the address for just the second shipment without affecting the first shipment?

I also have this issue. I suppose the workaround is to change the address on the order after the first shipment has been done.
