My business sells Custom Video Game Controllers and those controllers contain lithium batteries, which qualify as dangerous goods and must be declared when Creating a label from USPS. When a label is created to ship a product to the customer, the option to declare it as a dangerous goods item is available on this app. However, this option is completely missing when you try to create a return label.
This is a problem because when you select dangerous goods as an option, you get a different shipping label that identifies the package as HAZMAT which is indicated by a "H" on the top right corner. This "H" is important to have because USPS new rules will not allow them to accept packages containing dangerous goods that do not have that "H" designation, which can only be given when you select the dangerous goods option. And that option is not available to select when you create a return label.
Businesses sometimes have to deal with returns, so not having this option available is very inconvenient. It means that the only way to create a proper return label is to go to the official USPS website to do it, and this wastes precious time. This app works great for my business because it is the only shipping app that integrates with my Shopify store AND allows you to create HAZMAT labels for shipping. It would just be very helpful if you could create return labels the same way. Thank you for your time.
