I was very excited to see the new 3pl feature, and have switched one of my clients from being a regular store to a 3pl client with their own account that integrates to mine. Unfortunately, it seems like we are going backwards in some areas with this new feature.
Clients need to be able to cancel an order from their account, and have the cancellation occur in our fulfillment account.
In the traditional system of one shipstation account, multiple stores, clients could cancel an order in their shopify, and the cancellation would come through to my shipstation account no problem. Now clients have no way of initiating a cancellation on their own.
Seems like shipstation is trying charge more (client has to pay for an account, I have to pay for an account, and I have to pay for the 3pl feature upgrade, for less capabilities.
PLEASE fix this and allow clients to cancel orders through their own account ASAP.

Hello, @ahoycratey!
Thank you for your post in the community! We truly value your feedback. While ShipStation doesn’t currently offer a way for clients to cancel orders directly within their account, we do provide the option for you, as the fulfillment provider, to reject orders as needed. I’ve attached our Help Center article titled Rejected Fulfillment to guide you through this process.
We hope you find this helpful!
