I hope this message finds you all well. I want to request a feature enhancement for return label management within ShipStation, and I think you will all find this intriguing.
Currently, there doesn’t seem to be a way to automatically void return labels after a set period of inactivity, such as when a label is created but not used for shipping within a specific timeframe. This has become a critical need for businesses like ours, as it would allow for:
Reduced Costs: We often see a high number of return labels created but not used, leading to unnecessary expenses. Automatically voiding these labels would help mitigate these costs.
Improved Efficiency: Having a built-in option to void labels after, say, 25 days of inactivity would streamline operations and eliminate the need for manual tracking and voiding of unused labels.
Enhanced Customer Communication: We could clearly communicate to customers that they have a set amount of time to use the return label, improving accountability.
Would it be possible to add this feature to ShipStation? It would greatly benefit businesses that manage large volumes of returns and are looking to optimize their process. Thank you for considering this request!
