ShipStation API v1 support

Greetings,

my company specializes in developing SaaS solutions for ecommerce merchants, and we would like to integrate ShipStation with our product, but we are unsure whether to use ShipStation API v1 or v2.

From what we could tell based on your API documentation, the v1 API appears to be better suited for our purpose, but we are also concerned with API availability in the future. Are there any plans to add new features to the v2 API or remove features from the v1 API? Will the v1 API be discontinued? What about availability of APIs to ShipStation users? Any other updates regarding ShipStation APIs?
