Why is there no Third-Party shipping option in the drop down menu where we can input a customers account for billing an order? This seems like a very standard option. The whole point of using Shipstation is to streamline shipping and not have to go to the carrier website and manually input all of this into UPS.

Unfortunately, that now costs an additional fee. :/. You will need to reach out to customer service to add it.

Hello @DumaisShipping!

 

After reviewing the shipment activity from the order example in your support ticket, it looks like you were attempting to use 3rd-party billing with our UPS and/or FedEx accounts provided through ShipStation.

 

To clarify: to use 3rd-party billing, you’ll need to use your standalone carrier accounts. The good news is that we see you already have two of your own UPS accounts connected to your ShipStation account. You should be able to use either to apply 3rd-party billing, for example, when billing your customer’s UPS account.

However, please note that UPS by ShipStation does not support third-party billing, which limits our built-in carrier accounts. I have attached our Help Center article here for you.
