I noticed a pop-up today that says we can now get 2FA codes sent via SMS. I'd like to follow up on an earlier post where I requested the option to disable 2FA, and say that this update does not help us. Our issue is that the person with access to the inbox the 2FA codes are being sent to isn't always available. Adding SMS as an option comes with the same issue.
Please allow users to opt out of 2FA if they determine it isn't a feature they want to use. This is kind of ridiculous.

I agree with this thread at 100%. This is highly affecting my business and logging me out of my app which Iโm required to know when the order come in. I am the only login user for this account so I truly hope that Ship Station will come up with a feature to allow us to opt out of two factor authentication because Iโm being logged out all of the time. Please Ship Station listen to your customers, and I donโt care if you force us into it at first but least allow us to opt out of it. Itโs our account we should have the option.

We just fixed this issue for our warehouse. Each packing user has a individual login and it was a pain in the ass with the emails etc and this is what we did to fix it.
We use iPads on our packing benches but would work the same if you have a spare apple/android device floating around.
1. Download google authenticator onto a shared device.
2. Login to each packer shipstation account, go to My Profile in the top right corner.
3. Scroll down to the Multifactor section and click on Manage Settings and authenticate again.
4. Click "add new option"
5. Select "Authentication App"
6. On your device, click on + icon and scan QR code.
7. Scan the QR code and verify the code in Shipstation.
8. Go back to My Profile and delete the email option under Multi Factor Authentication.
9. Your user is now setup for one time passcode.
10. Do this for all the other users and just use the same shared device. You can rename the codes in Google Authenticator for all the users so everyone knows which code is for which user.
Yes its a pain in the ass. Once its setup, it's really easy for the users. We fix up all the accounts on Friday and today everyone was saying how easy it was to login today.
I hope this helps ๐

Agreed 100%
This is not working well for us at all.
We have 5 users.
3 of them at packing stations in the warehouse - they do not get emails out there - they PACK SHIPMENTS.
What part of this does Ship Station NOT understand - Have the software developers ever worked in a shipping environment in a busy warehouse?
I have employees daily coming into the office (BTW my building is the size of a super walmart) chasing a code, only to get back to the PC and it's expired!
I understand the need for security, but at least let me set a phone number for each user so I can have the text sent to me warehouse manager who IS IN THE WAREHOUSE!
I am a huge Ship Station fan, but this is pushing me away!
